it's cheap, it's functional. mine arrived slightly bent but nothing that couldn't be corrected with a little elbow grease applied in the correct spots. there were also a few dings and a scratches, likely from the insufficient packaging, but let's be honest... if you place this on your desk upside down so the scratches are visible, you're doing it wrong.there are nanosuction pads lining the base to hold your keyboard and trackpad firmly. very firmly. removing them from the frame requires you to push firmly and steadily from the bottom, through the holes until each item is released. because of this, alignment is somewhat critical during installation as you won't be able to simply slide either the keyboard or the trackpad to make room for the other. the frame is also cut to ensure access to the on/off switches, lightning charging ports and antennas; once installed, you really have no reason to ever remove your devices from the frame. it is also completely ambidextrous; you can place the trackpad on either side of the keyboard. beyond all this, it holds the devices securely and presents them well. you'll be fine using the combined kit both at the desk and away from it.for the price, especially when compared to the competition, it's damn near perfect. however, if you care desperately for how the bottom and edges look, doubling the retail price will get you one of the other brands.

Great product. All it really needs is some toes on the bottom.
