Great!
My 10-year-old daughter requested this because she was interested in finding out more about Japan. We had a 1-hour tasting party on the living room floor and we compared the snacks to each other and to American snacks. We loved some, and we hated some. She took some duplicates to school and shared them with her friends. You can tell a lot about the culture by common flavors, textures, packaging, serving sizes, and a lot of other things that we saw in this box. We don't have a lot of exposure to Japanese culture here in Missouri, so this was a wonderful learning and bonding experience for my daughter, her friends, and me. :)

My first snack box! I Love It
I recieved it in great condition, 30 pieces, a mixture of different snacks and candies. I love the potatoe sticks, it has a unique vegetable flavor! I definitely will buy this again.

Great assortment - Increased my desire to try more!
I bought the 30 pc. box, and it was a decent mix - my only "complaint" is the number of Umaibo corn snacks. I know there's a wide variety of these available - they include 7 of them in my box. (As it's assorted and random, I can't say this is or is not the norm.) I would rather have had a wider variety of different types than seven different flavors of the same kind. But the different items were very unique - the jelly cups were delicious, but I don't know what they're called - and i'm certain I'll order another of these in the future. (I just hope there's more variety in the types next time.)btw... the fish cookie, if you get one, does _not_ taste like fish. :)

Should've take a photo before digging in
From the picture, what I got was pretty darn close to what is shown. The contents are not exact, but they were close enough. I recognized some of the stuff before I bought it because I used to raid the kid's section at our local Asian market (it closed :*( ). Every item is an individually wrapped single serving ("penny candy") of various wafers, crackers, cookies, jellies, fruit candies, gummies, chocolate-covered doodads, lollipops, small pieces of gum & gumballs, and a couple unidentifiable things. What I liked about this box was it really was a nice assortment. Some things were sweet, some salty, and some both. There were no cakes or hard candy (other than 2 lollipops). The chocolate stuff was excellent. Even the cheap stuff in Japan still has a real quality taste, unlike in the US where a lot of cheap chocolate candies or wafers are made with waxy, barely chocolate-tasting gunk. There were a few puffed corn tubes (think one giant cheeto) with powdered cheese on them, not sure what they're called but I have always liked them. There was one thing though, it was like a sweet cookie with strong powdered cheese on it, and it kind of took me by surprise. It was very weird but I loved it. There was a cool "jelly stick" that was grape, kind of like a gummy floating in grape juice. I got a kick out of that one. There was a box of cereal flakes with a very happy cartoon corn cob on the package, covered in delicious chocolate. I'm trying to go from memory because almost everything is gone. There was a coke-flavored gummy that was awesome. Lots of air-puffed wafers, some with sweet and some savory. There were little fish on a bag of puffs, I know they're "fish flavored" but the fish & shrimp stuff is not a strong flavor & they're basically like puffed chips. There was a soda-flavored lollipop you could dip in powder, a hard wafer candy like a sweet-tart, a few small single pieces of gum & gumballs, and a bit of green apple taffy. I made a day of it and ate the leftovers the next day. The fun part was so many different flavors. There were 2 things I didn't like. One looked like a deflated fruit about the size of an olive, the other looked like the same fruit but whole. It smelled okay and I gave it a try, but holy crap it was SALTY. Like, mega-salty. It also had a preserved tang I didn't like it at all. I now believe them to be tiny preserved, salted plums called "kishu umeboshi." Bleagh! Not my thing, but still fun to learn about. For 12 bucks it was a lot of fun. The package came very quickly (only a few days!) and all the stuff was fresh and well within the dates on the package. They were protected well but unfortunately a lot of the crackers and cookies were all broken up. I imagine this happened before they were shipped, not a big deal but just making note of it. I liked 98% of what was in there, and it seemed like there was an effort to make sure it was an interesting assortment. I would definitely buy this one again.

Amazing service
It arrived earlier and seeing everything now it was worth the wait! They are very nice and I'm excited to try everything :) I accidentally ordered 2 but more for me! I'll post pictures tomorrow. Great packaging and nothing was ruined. Everything looks good :)UPDATE: it has 33 things in both boxes! So this is a plus. Both boxes are the same but they're different flavour so that's pretty awesome. I'm very happy with my order.

Adventure For The Whole Family
I bought this as a gift for my daughter who is obsessed with everything Japanese & anime at the moment. We got really lucky, and had mostly candy in our package, so I'm grateful for that.SAVORY SNACKS:She's not a huge teriyaki/seaweed fan. I was worried that's what it would mostly be, but it wasn't. She wasn't a fan of most of the puffed snacks, but I loved them. They were fresh and delicious! Didn't find a single one that was stale(another thing I was worried about). Everything is in Japanese, so you have to be adventurous! unless it had a cute grape or cola cartoon on the package, it was a fun mystery. The savory snacks we got were my favorite(I think most adults will prefer them). I'm not exactly sure of the flavors, but I really enjoyed them. One had a cute octopus on the package, so I'm assuming it was seafood flavored. It was really delicious. The tube-shaped crisps were also very delicious.SWEET:My kid loved single one except for one candy that was absolutely awful lol but 1 or 2 items out of 30 isn't bad! The canies we're very sweet and had interesting flavors/textures. She especially loved the Ice Stick lollipop. The pop rock candy was a lot of fun. It had two flavors that went very well together. The jelly candies were very good as well. They do a good job of fruit flavors in Japan, I must say. Also, anything chocolate flavored is a win. I could write forever, but I don't want to write too much and bore everyone. It took us a little over an hour to try everything out and rate it. We had a lot of fun, and I will definitely be buying this again!

Interesting Mixture of Products
Was hoping that the product came with it all translated to English. We were unable to find out what some of it was (even after an internet search). Box came with no dents. Love the mixture of flavours. Little expensive but not sure what the shipping from Japan would cost. Arrived later than expected but due to the virus we were patient.

Everything looks delicious!
I was so happy that this arrived in time! I ordered it November 18 but knew it may not arrive on time. I wanted it for stocking stuffers. I haven’t tried anything yet, but it was packaged neatly and looks great!

Not Worth It!!
I love Japanese Snacks, and often go to Asian stores to try all kinds of new things. I thought thisbox was a fun idea to taste test with my Japanese boyfriend, but it is not worth the money. Half of the candies and snacks were tiny, individual things. For example, I got one individually wrapped hard candy, one individually wrapped mini cookie, etc. The box does not actually look that full in real life, and is quite empty. You can definitely get more of your money's worth from somewhere else. This was disappointing :(

Missing 1 candy, small candy and most of them were bad
Was missing one candy, got only 29. Most of them were really gross, spit some out. Fun to try but would be way better if it came with a description of each product. Just felt like a rusian roulet. 1$ per candy seams fine until you actually see the size and taste the product. I don't recommand.
