It's the book I've always wanted!
I've always wanted a book like this! I'm so happy I came across it, because it contains everything you would need to know. The ideas included are creative and it never gets old, and the step-by-step instructions are NOT confusing at all. The Instructions are straight forward and the pictures that demonstrate the process are great!! I recommend this book to anyone who takes instant photography.

YOU OWE IT TO YOURSELF TO GET THIS BOOK!
Okay. So, there are already many books on Polaroid cameras and how to do Polaroid photo manipulations. Why another and do I need this one? First I will say with the revival of analog (think vinyl) and now Polaroid based cameras and films thanks to a company now going by Polaroid Originals. The answer to the question is a resounding yes. This book covers all Polaroid type cameras all the way up to the Impossible I1 camera. The really great thing about this new book on manipulations is that it covers the new Polaroid film being put out these days as well as the Fuji line of film. There are a lot of cool photos of manipulations and the explanations for doing them are very clear. I can't wait to get my hands dirty trying some of the techniques outlined in this book. If you were to only have one book in your arsenal on Polaroid manipulation then you owe it to yourself to get this book.

I treat this book as indepensable when dealing with any non standard polaroid shot. Also gives a great history and breakdown for each camera type, I use it all the time in my work.

Excellent!
This book is genuinely stunning! It's the only Polaroid book you'll ever need. It covers all techniques I've ever heard of and then some and it also covers all the instant cameras that matter to date (04/2018). All that in a hardcover with lots of high-quality illustrative prints for under $20 is a real bargain.

A must read for anyone interested in Polaroid
Great little book covering the history of Polaroid, the unique chemistry and the various models of vintage and new cameras.Well written and logically laid out, this is an excellent book for anyone wanting to understand Polaroid cameras. All of the main models of camera are reviewed, explained and each has a troubleshooting section. The book also covers some more advanced techniques Polaroid photography which should interest anyone who is looking to improve their skills with these cameras.Handy film compatibility tables also let you know what film you can use on your vintage camera. My only criticism is that there is not anything about mechanical repair of the cameras or the tools you might need to do this. I would have the particularly liked to have seen a small section on how to replace broken couplers in SX 70s (a common problem).

Invoglia decisamente a sperimentare!

Very interesting
There are not many new books on using Polaroid film but this one is a little gem in the new world of Polaroid. The first part of the book retraces Polaroid history, development, the films and the cameras up until the Impossible I-1. Pity it was just published before the next Polaroid chapter and the Onestep 2. The second part of the book are a bunch of creative techniques that can be used with your instant camera. Page 11 gives a helpful guide on what techniques can be used with different types of film. Rhiannon Adam has done a great job of putting all this together in a wonderful informative book. Well worth buying especially if you are new or a fan of using Polaroid instant cameras.
