I have ripped both Blu-ray and standard DVDs with absolutely zero problems. Over 35 ripped so far and counting. Moving all my collection over to a NAS and this was a perfect choice. You won't be sorry if you choose this one! The only thing I would change is the USB cable is attached and is only about 8 inches long which limits where you can place it depending on your computer setup. That is the only limitation I have found.
