Well built
Purchased for use with phosphate RX and this does the job nice. Wanted to find a 4 inch sock to fit in place but I think this works better. It has more surface area for the particulates bound via phosphate rx to clog the sock meaning you won't have to clean it until after the dose is complete. Since it is 10 micron, I even run my tank through this sock to really polish the water and it does well. The sock has a nice, sturdy, wire opening as well as a strap to support the weight of water collected in this sock. Good design and works well.

Used to filter concrete dust
Used this product to separate concrete particulates from water after grinding and cleaning my basement. Made it much easier to dispose of the waste by reducing weight by drying the filtered material for disposal rather than waiting for it to dehydrate entirely by itself or trying to dispose of heavy concrete slush.

Use it in my canister filter
Actually I use this in my canister filter, I can cut it up and get two reusable 100 micron filters.. works better then filters you can purchase for your canister.
