Only used one time so far but they were amazing. I wondered that since they were the cheep knock-off version if the metal spikes would bend easier. After a 7 mile run (500 feet on asphalt) on snow, ice, dirt and rocks these spikes were in perfect shape. They did not even come close to coming off. I wear size 11.5 and they fit fine even though they say up to size 11 max. They could likely fit a 12 or 12.5 without an issue. They had amazing traction. I thought on the way down while running on the trail that I would trip as the spikes may catch on whatever the terrain was - snow, ice, dirt etc. I did catch them here and there but did not fall.Absolutely love them so far. If they do not hold up I will update the review.

A must-have for winter hiking
My husband and I bought microspikes so that we could do more hiking in winter. I wear a women's size 9.5 shoe, so I ordered the large. The spikes fit easily over my tennis shoes, and I had both of them on in less than one minute. Used them on our hike last weekend and they worked beautifully. No more slipping and sliding for us! They gripped the ice really good, and it didn't make our gait awkward at all.... just felt like normal walking!Obviously I can't tell how long they will hold up, but they seemed durable and good quality.

Durable... Great traction, fit and design!
I hike to train and stay in shape and my normal routine is to hike 10 miles/week w/ a 50 lb backpack on hilly terrain here in central NY, just south of Syracuse. I bought these in late Jan and have already put 15-20 miles on them as we often get frequent thaw/freezes here in upstate NY in the winter and the hillier hiking trails can become quite icy and treacherous. So far they have performed marvelously! Great traction gives confidence on even the slickest of conditions. They fit well and the "Large" size I purchased are easy to slip over my boots (Men's 9.5) but hold great and have never come close to slipping off. The rubber which holds the steel chains/cleats is above the sole of the boots so it is not exposed to the sharp ice or rocks and has shown no signs of wear thus far. Great design as the rubber on other cleats I have worn is not as protected and tends to tear easily, rendering them inoperable in certain conditions or after just a few uses. I will update this post if things change but so far a great product and purchase! Highly recommend.

Wore these to hike on a Glacier. Previously had attempted to walk on the same Glacier and couldn't even make it 10 feed in. These worked fantastically! I was able to climb all over the glacier for about 2 hours. Easy to put on they work fantastic for traction and easy to take off. Certainly a wise investment for anyone going on a glacier. And several of my friends had the exact same pair and it worked great for them too.

Could not be happier
I ordered three different brands and types of cleats at the same time, not knowing what would work best for the mud that the horses churn up and produce with an efficiency that seems almost magical. These cleats, while a bit of a stretch (pun intended) to put on, stayed in place beautifully. Rather than slipping and sliding all over the place, I was able to keep traction almost perfectly. Rather than take them on and off repeatedly, I have dedicated a pair of boots to keep the cleats on and carry them up with me to the horses' muddy paradise and put them on before entering and mucking out the area. Not a spot of rust to be seen and I have worn and washed these several times now. I could not be happier with these and no longer get hurt while moving through deep mud.

Great NH winters
We have had an extremely icy winter so far in New Hampshire. These traction cleats have gained us safer mobility anywhere from getting the morning's newspaper down an icy driveway to hiking in icy snow. My father who is 75 loves them. They give excellent traction while snowblowing, scraping icy windshields, etc. We highly recommend.

Very stable on ice.
I took the cleats out for a test walk today on a trail that had a lot of ice, some on an incline. I had good traction throughout. One of our party on older yaktrax was slipping, but I felt fully secure at all times. At this low price, they are a great deal.

Garbage
UPDATE:Pure trash. Caught on a lump of ice or something and tore the rubber where the chain goes through. Trash now and only wore a few times. Garbage.I wasn’t sure at first. Not one word of directions included but I figured it out ok. Great traction since.
