Save time and money gluten free baking
I ordered this mill because we are gluten free due to allergies with celiac symptoms. I needed a less expensive option than purchasing tiny bags of rice flour at over inflated prices. At first I bought the expensive blender to grind rice because I thought it would service more than one need, which it did, but it took hours to grind and sift, and I would be covered in flour from head to toe by the time I was done making 3lbs of the stuff. Now that I have this awesome mill I just pour rice into the hopper, let it do its job and within minutes I have 3lbs of flour, no need to sift, it's already fine as store bought at a fraction of the price with way less time invested. I can put it back through again if I need pastry flour and it turns out beautifully soft and fluffy.Lastly, I ordered this mill a week before Thanksgiving not knowing it didn't have two day shipping. When I realized it may not arrive in time for all the baking I needed to do, I contacted Mock Mill with my concern. They got back with me within an hour, and little did I know, they were already on top of getting the mill to me and it arrived on the second day anyway. Thank you Mock Mill we had a great holiday full of gluten free bread and pies!

Fantastic mill
After having grown up with a vintage 1970s Magic Mill, after I got married and moved out I was on the hunt for a way to grind my own flour! I went through two other used Magic Mills - they both were impossible to clean, had worn out stones and took up a TON of space. Enter the Mockmill.I bought it RIGHT when it came out with no reviews. It's fantastic! As previous reviewers mentioned, the spout can break easily. I fixed mine quickly with some superglue and baking soda. Worked like a charm! If it breaks again I'll definitely call the company. The mill comes apart with no tools, and you can get all the way to the inside of the stones to clean it out. The grind is very fine, which I love. It's fast with wheat berries and a bit slower with corn, but it still gives a great flour. The only con I can think of is that you have to watch the bowl below the spout carefully and rotate it as needed - unlike the old Magic Mills where you could mill 20+ cups of flour at a time! The smaller footprint on the countertop is a welcome trade off, though. My two year old is totally obsessed with it and wishes we could grind wheat every day. My advice? BUY THIS MILL! You won't regret it.

Right Choice!!
After years of delay ...mostly because I was unsure and wanted to get 'the right one' ...After much research, I finally settled on the Mockmill and purchased it five months ago. It was quite simple to assemble by myself and a cinch to operate. A few days ago the edge of the nozzle broke and although I took my chances to call Mockmill on a Sunday ...I was delighted to promptly received a call back. With a little simple explanation of the issue, I was assured this little part could and would be replaced at no cost. Four days later, I have the piece! ... and my Mockmill is humming with the new spout intact. Very impressed with their customer service! They are personable, warm and pleasant people with first rate customer service. Couldn't be happier ...and the delicious breads and waffles (and more!) that I can make with my wonderful Mockmill unit is only exceeded by the good nutrition which I know it is providing. Nothing like the sweet scent of wheat berries being ground and milling it as beautiful and fine as I like. Life is good! and I highly recommend the Mockmill 200 and their wonderful customer support! Will be enjoying this for years to come.

Bought one in November and it’s already broken. One of the hooks that holds the spout in place broke off. There is no way to repair it. Flour shoots out all over my cabinet unless I hold it in place.

Love my Mockmill 200_Fast & so Easy to use_ 5-10 loaves of bread/wk_4 yrs & still going strong!
The Mockmill 200 has been a game-changer for us. We purchased it in 2017, soon after it first became available on Amazon. It has a large funnel that holds several cups of grain as it feeds it into the grinder & clean up takes less than 10 seconds. It also does not dust the air w flour like our old Magic MIll II did. Our old machine had also been very time-consuming to clean, after milling, so we ended up not using it very much. Now w the Mockmill it takes so little time that it doesn't slow me down in my busy day. Can have 5 loaves of fresh-ground, wheat bread done from beginning to end in under 2 hrs using the Mockmill, my Bosch Mixer & instant yeast.I should mention, that I did run into 1 problem the 1st year, when I was frequently using the chute to pull the machine toward me from the back of the counter. Finally, the chute broke off, but a call to the company brought a free replacement very quickly. They mentioned that they were now building the chute attachments thicker/stronger, since a few others had had a similar issue. It’s been fine since (although I no longer pull on the chute, just in case). One other thing, that might help for some of the problems a few have mentioned, is to be sure that the machine is turned on before putting anything through it or it can jam. Also don't put anything w high oil content through it (like seeds) or it can gum it up. The instructions talk about this. I have not had any other problems except the 1 time I forgot to start the machine before adding the grain. It jammed the grinders for a moment. Fortunately, I was able to quickly stop it, dump the grains out & clear the jammed grains (unplug it 1st), then put it back together, started it, added grain & voila' perfect flour again! The machine lets you set it to a finer or coarser grind too. So if something is too course, try changing the setting the way they describe.Another thing I like to do, that is probably not needed but gives me peace of mind, is to use a piece of sponge (cut from one of those large, yellow sponges you can get from a hardware store) to block the chute from any possible roaming bugs from getting into the mill. I wait till the sides of the machine have completely cooled off, after use (so it doesn't trap moisture inside).
