Streetwise Las Vegas Map - Laminated City Center Street Map of Las Vegas, Nevada Map – December 27, 2008

I plan to visit Las Vegas later this year. I used this series map in London and Paris on previous trips. These maps usually show PART of a city in detail (no suburbs) in a form that folds and is weather proof. This map is exactly what I wanted. There is a detailed map of the strip and entertainment locations, showing the casinos and hotels themselves. You can see what is across the street from where you're considering staying, how far you will have to walk to see everything you want to see, and all the locations with respect to the airport (McCarran). Turn the map over and see the city on a smaller scale, showing more of the city around the strip, etc. If you are visiting your brother-in-law in one of the suburbs, you will have to buy a second map, but this gives me everything I want and need.

When we plan a trip to a location we've never been to, I always order a map, and this laminated map is perfect. It shows great detail, and is easy to carry. This seller had it in my mailbox in record time! Thanks!!

I liked how it folded up accordian style, because it made it very handy to carry around. The lamination was excellent, too, because it didn't get damaged. I liked how on one side it showed the strip, and the other side showed the general area of Las Vegas. My only problem with the map was that there were streets on the general side that didn't show up, so I had to use google maps to fill in the gaps of where certain streets were. Overall, I was very happy with the use of this map on our visit to Las Vegas.

Maybe a little pricey for what you get, but it's a decent map to keep around if you need to get familiar with Las Vegas and just navigate around the most common parts. I got two of them for my wife and 10 year old to throw in a bugout bag/emergency kit. Fit the bill for me, but there's better maps out there for more details and serious navigating.

i guess i must not have read the description as well as i should have. I thought this map would fold out and be easily readable. wrong. if you have really good eyes or a magnifier it might do the job. i was expecting a map that i could mark on and easily tell where things are. if you are looking for a small map to carry in your pocket, than maybe this for you. if you are looking for a map to lay out on a table and easily readable, than keep looking. other than that the map is well laminated and seems very durable.

It is just what you need to get a quick overview of "The Strip" and "Downtown" Las Vegas, Nevada. One problem would be that if one has problems with their vision as they age this map may not be that good. That is unless you have a handy-dandy device to assist your reading. The map gives just enough information to help and not overwhelm you with facts and figures that you do not need to know.

This map has a tiny, and I mean really tiny, map of the hotels and resorts on the strip. If, like me, you want to see the locations of the different hotels and casinos do not buy this map. I returned it and am annoyed I had to pay for postage both ways- for an inferior product- that was not advertised correctly.

trip got canceled so never used it, maybe one day I'll get there as I had planned. Nice maps though

I bought this map to carry on my purse while walking the city on my next trip. It's well made and will not wear and tear to easily.

Consiglio vivamente questo tipo cartina in quanto il formato è molto comodo da tenere in tasca e di semplice lettura.

This map is great and has all the buildings and casinos you would ever want to see. I bought a Streetwise map for a San Francisco trip which I constantly used, but I found I didn't really need a map in Las Vegas. We stayed on the strip and everything is on the strip, so you just walk up and down and get your bearings and then you know where everything is anyway. Great map though in case you forget if a casino is north or south! If you're going to have a map with you, this is the one to buy.

Der beste Stadtplan den es meiner Meinung nach gibt.Er ist Laminiert so das er auf der Reise auch nicht so schnell zerknittert und auch bei Regen unbeschadet bleibt.Die Hotels sind in 3 D eingezeichnet und selbst die Hotels die sich noch im Bau oder Planung befinden sind schon eingezeichnet.(in einer anderen Farbe)Für das Geld absolut empfehlenswert.
