Reminiscent of a paisley Kashmir rug, this art quilt wall hanging shows a wonderful flow of color throughout the piece. Using 2" squares placed on point, the design flows between black and gold cotton print fabrics, with a bit of burgundy, orange and pink thrown in for emphasis. Each row builds upon colors in the previous row, and by setting the piece on point, it allows the colors to flow throughout the piece. The small inner border is a dark gold fabric, and the outer border is a paisley fabric with all the colors in the quilt. The outside binding strip is black. Although this is not a true "rug", this piece will be a showcase on any wall of your home or office. Two small rings are sewn at the top back for hanging. I took this photo on in my shop/gallery on one of my red painted walls and one painted a yellow color to show the effects on both a light and dark wall. Although this piece would look stunning anywhere, it sure makes a statement against this red wall. My studio is at Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Measurements: 22 x 43" I use USPS to ship all packages.
