Money worth spending
If you are an avid computer user, this is the thing you need. I was with the perception, what would an expensive keyboard bring to the table over anything with buttons. What you miss:1. I have the brown keys, I type on it like a breeze. The buttons you can actually feel when they get activated (hard to decribe in words) and it then also pushes your finger upwards ready for the next one...2. Once you get the hang of it, each and every button is well separated yet close enough that you rarely miss-type.3. Brown switches are decently quiet but do give you the very satisfying tickity tack as you type your way to a less stressful experience of retyping your error prone codes. These should basically be mandatory in offices.4. Custom shortcut keys. The power of not lifting your hand over to the mouse for the entire duration of the 3 hr coding session and find the right code in stackoverflow and chat GPT is just empowering! will make you feel like a pro even when your entire code is done by Chat GPT. FN+V, you open your vscode, FN+G, google in new tab, FN+C, chat GPT in another.5. Custom per key RGB lights, might sound only gamer frinedly gimmick, but I am not a complete touch typer so I put the F, J and numpad 5 with fast color blinks so that I know where to put my finger in half a glance.6. Small things like "is the capslock on?" (during passwords -_-), "oof, the numlock is off" are gone. You see it right on the display up top.7. Yes, I game too, and custom profiles for each game means I can just set all the button used in the game in one color. the lock windows button on top is super helpful too! spending time making cutom color layouts is a great time pass in itself.8. The volume contol is such a nice addition, its super smooth and I do use it quite often when I WFH. If I could take this keyborad to office (which I do not, out of shame of people who do not understand the importance of this would be like...), the music sometimes I play to block office noise can be adjusted, again without lifting my hands off the keyboard!9. Do not underestimate the arm rest's role in the user experience and longevity of typing sessions.10. As you might have guessed, yes I type all this on it... love it!CON: The switches are not hot swappable.

Lousy Software
I was happy enough with the keyboard initially but the Corsair iCue software is absolute garbage. The RGB settings keep getting reset and half the time the software doesn't even recognize the keyboard.Worked fine for 9 months and now stopped working. The software won't detect the keyboard at all. It appears to be a hardware fault.Having gone through Corsair support and checked numerous forums, it would appear that this is a really common problem. The keyboard just stopped working for no apparent reason and there is no way to fix this. It's basically a defective product but the manufacturer won't acknowledge it.For a keyboard that is so expensive, this simply isn't acceptable.
