⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌶🌶🌶ALL OF THE FEELS!!!****SPOILERS****This book was beautifully written. It is full of love but also heartbreak. When Greer was growing up she wanted the fairytail with love and family but every man in her life kept showing her that it doesn't exit. Ryder was one of them after he ghosted her the last time she saw him. She didn't know why he had ghosted her and it comes out later why they never reunited earlier. At her brothers wedding, years later, she finds out he needs her help and he tells her he will take care of her and Greer was in so much debit she needed the help but sadly she was also in love with him so she already knew she would do anything for him. She took care of him when he was injured and never asked anything in return. She saw the old Ryder again when he was hurt and fell even more in love with him even though they were in a "fake marriage." Once he got better she then saw a different side to him and she realized their happily ever after would never be. This book had me deep in my feelings and showed that when a person truly loves you they will do whatever they feel is right for you, even if that means they walk away.

But let me just say, if my spouse continually took food out of my hand I'd be very angry. Greer was a sweet strong stubborn woman and I think she was too good for Ryder. How do you love someone for 20 years and still act like an id10t all of the time? I felt like he absolutely did not treat her right. He was selfish, self absorbed, and got off way too easily. Literally the day he got better he left her in the dust and couldn't figure out why she was upset? Are you serious?Greer was amazing. Ryder was not.Blah.

This was cute and spicy and the couple was really good together but all the angst!!! And the main dude was so selfish at times it ruined him! And word of warning there is OW drama! And a lot of it…. But otherwise an easy ready!

This book was phenomenal! I laughed. I cried. My heart broke and then was put back together. I loved Ryder and his depth of emotional turmoil throughout the whole book. He was going through it and it showed that he was learning. Greer is an MVP for sure. Taking care of him despite everything that was going on??? Only a real woman could. My only issue is that rather than him go her in person, he sent a note and she had to go to him. She had this huge emotional journey where she focused on herself and the fact that she had to go to him just kind of downplayed her development. Only reason I took off a star. But I would definitely read this again! Great job Broome!

A book about a boy whos 10 and I'd in love with his best friends sister. 8 years older. Jump 12 years and sparks fly. But because of timing lose another 10 years. When her brother is getting married. And the reconnect but due to circumstances. She thinks love just might not be enough for them to be together.

Spoiler alert: it starts out when he is 10 and she is 18 but they don’t get back together for 12 years, they are together for a coupler hours and then don’t see each other for another 8 years. Here is the stupid thing about this whole storyline her brother is mmc best friend so he would have the phone number for both individuals. It was stupid to have that whole situation and seriously 20 years. This guys has supposedly loved her for 20 years and they can seem to stay together for more than a couple hours. Then he is in accident losses his eyesight and the minute he gets it back after months of her tending to him he runs off with his friends and get drunk. Nothing actually shows he loves her. I would not recommend this book at all. Plus there is the pregnancy trope on top of that. Don’t waste your time.

So many ups and downs. First loves. Well written, makes your heart hurt at times but the redemption is so good.

Here is the thing, the book is really good, I like it a lot while reading….but! He does something to her ( no cheating but owd) and is very selfish and I think there is no groveling. At. All. He simple waits for her brother to help him and she is the one that go meet him. It made me very sad because he was great, perfect bookboyfriend and then simple nothing. Real typical man right there. But is a great book if that is ok for you.

I love how the book shows you the ups and down of dating an athlete. It also show the determination of people wanting to make it work and how they actually do what they said they would do. I should know I’m dating a footballer and that are some things that’s comes with the game but I’m happy that it works out just like my life so in a sense I relate to this book.

Eigentlich eine schöne Geschichte, jedoch war es mir etwas zu viel hin und her. In einem Moment sind beide überglücklich und alles ist super, im nächsten Moment passiert eine Kleinigkeit und alles fällt angeblich auseinander. Man hat das Gefühl, deren Liebe existiert nur, weil sie vor etlichen Jahren angefangen hat. Man merkt kein Vertrauen zwischen den beiden. Auch eine wirkliche Entwicklung der Beziehung ist nicht vorhanden meiner Meinung nach. Schade, trotzdem eine gute Idee.

I’m the first to admit that when I read brothers best friend these days I usually roll my eyes. But this one caught my attention and it was so worth it. It was just so good! The can’t fault any of the characters or the plot. Ryder was just swoon worthy. The balance of his certainty and Gigi’s doubts took angst to a whole other level. Ryder of course made a few stupid errors in judgement but that’s what we expect from our MMC. I just really enjoyed it!
