Excellent features. Inexpensive. Works perfectly. Mode features ... ranges are not enough... allowed range fluctuations need to be lower. Humidity level control range increments/ decrements are 5% .. should be less like 2. You can set the humidity ranges .. 40 45 50 .. then it does not kick off until 43 48 53 Can not set 47 etc.. Not easy to operate.

Works well, easy to program, will work for a humidifier or dehumidifier depending on how its set. Installed in 5 min. We'll worth the purchase. Replaced my timer switch with this.

let me begin by saying that this device was very simple to install and seems to work well and exactly as advertised. But, let me further be clear that amazons AI is insisting that im saying that the build quality is good, but thats actually one of my cons. theyre also checking off ease of use, which i would call marginal at best. i will address these below. So i read several of the other reviews of this item before i ordered it, and i felt that most of them were just people who shouldnt have been installing this item in the first place. if you need instructions on how to install this, you should be calling an electrician. full stop. anyone complaining about poor installation instructions falls into this category. the truth is that this is extremely easy to install. there are 3 wires: line load and ground. it doesnt get much more straight forward. since this device doesnt have a neutral, clearly no neutral is required. and to answer the inevitable question, if your house does have a neutral, you can still install this and everything will work just fine. Pros: > the screen is actually pretty east to read despite it being so small. and the LCD that was used is able to be read from a fairly wide angle. since this was a specific concern of mine due to my particular switch location, i am happy that this isnt an issue. > The default factory settings are mostly fine for everyone. there is one setting that i didnt really like, which is the duration that the device stays on if it is manually turned on. the factory setting is 8 hours and the shortest available option is 4 hours. so thats where i set mine. i would like to have a 1 or 2 hour setting though. > easy to install. like i said above, there are only 3 wires, and in most houses they will be 66% (2 out of 3) matching color coded. > this device seems to work excactly as advertised. it is sensitive enough that breathing on it will activate it, and it shows you right on screen what its humidity % measurements are and what its target humidity % is Cons: > the device seems like it could have been made better. specifically the face of my switch did not seem to be firmly attached. i dont mean to suggest that it might separate, because i dont think it could without intentionally trying to do so. just that the face and the back case had a small bit of play between them so that there was a small bit of wiggle room. > the controls of this device are a bit difficult to understand, even when holding the instructions in the other hand. it took me a few times thru to grasp it, but once i did it wasnt difficult. but it seems to me that instead of labeling the fields 1, 2, 3, etc, since it has a screen, they could have had better descriptors with just a tiny bit more effort. but im not a software engineer so i could be totally off about that. lastly, i admit that i have only had this installed for about 24 hrs now. if the long term results are negative, or if this device fails in a few months, ill come back and update my review. but as of this immediate short term, this item has been exactly what i thought i would get and i have no major complaints.

Installed and working great. The switch has been in use for a couple months now with no complaints.
