Easy to use, sturdy and works great!
I recently returned from a month-long trip overseas. I've never taken such a long trip before and had to struggle to find the right balance between bringing enough clothes to wear and still being able to get everything into one suitcase. These bags were a tremendous help in that process. While they can't help with keeping the weight of your clothes down (you still need to pay attention to the airlines' baggage limitations), they are wonderful in conserving space. Also, even though these may look like big Baggies, don't be fooled by looks -- they are very tough and can be re-used over and over again.I would make one suggestion that differs from the instructions that come with these bags. They suggest rolling them up by hand to get the extra air out. I found an easier way, at least for big guys like me. I put the filled and sealed bags on the floor and then just lie down on top of them to squeeze the air out. It's fast, it works and it's a lot easier than doing it by hand.

Pack smart and orgazined!
I love to travel but hate paying for extra bags. These space saving vacuum bags make it so I can pack 2 weeks worth of clothes in a 25 inch suitcase. They make organizing my bag easy so finding something is as easy as removing just the right bag without having to take everything out and create the need to repack everything to find that one pair of pants. If you fold the clothes right when you pack them in the vacuum bags it also keep wrinkles to a minimum and best of all, you can pack all the dirty clothes separate from the clean ones as you travel. You can also keep way towels and bathing suits from ruining your other garments. One down side (which is not really a negative, just a cautious warning) is because I can pack more in my suitcase when using these bags, I have to be mindful of the weight limit of my bag going over. Unlike other vacuum bags, these bags DO NOT require a vacuum. You just put the clothes in, zip, and roll to squeeze the air out.they come in multiple sizes, I like the medium size because I think that offer the most arraingement possibilities when packing. Evetually the Seals or zippers will wear out or break, but I view them as disposable and are inexpensive to replace.

A needed purchase for your suitcase
I bought these hoping to save space in my suitcase when my family travels. The bags did help me save space and my suitcase looked organized but not as much space as I had hope for. Nevertheless, I am happy with them and would recommend them.Pros: I like that they are good quality and most likely will last for a long time. I used the large ones to store my winter clothes (with the help of a vacuum) and so far no air has gotten in.Cons: Since these are for travel (no vacuum), I found it was very hard nearly impossible to get all the air out. Here is how I packed my clothes for a recent trip. I tried different ways and found this way to be the easiest and most efficient for me.1. We were going on a five-day trip, so I used five bags, one for each day and label the bag (Monday, Tuesday, etc.) to help me identify which bag was which. I only used the medium bags and one medium bag held my outfit, my husband's outfit, my pjs, husband's pjs, two undergarments and two pairs of socks.2. I folded my clothes neatly and put them all the way into the bag leaving a good portion of the bag empty. I closed the bag using the clip provided all the way but leaving about half-an-inch open for the air to escape.3. I then squeezed the bag and tried to get as much air out as I could. It helped tremendously to do this on a flat surface like the hotel floor but I'd lay down a towel first cause you know .. germs and stuff. Then I really just ... sat on the bags using my weight to push the air out ... of the bag (not the other thing). The final step was to actually roll the bag squeezing the very last air out. Finally, I used the sliding clip and slided it three to four times. It took for about 5 minutes to pack and squeeze each bag. Not really bad at all and my suitcase looked extremely neat. Plus it was very easy to find what I needed.

" I'm so happy I was wrong
Initially, I thought: "How can these bags work properly without a vacuum? It must be a scam." I'm so happy I was wrong. Here's what happened:- The Large-sized bags were larger than I expected, so I used three Medium-sized bags to insert the following in each:* Bag 1: Seven pairs of jeans (rolled)* Bag 2: Six sweaters, two t-shirts and 10 bras* Bag 3: Two pants and eight shirts (rolled)- I put everything in, did a double snapping with the included tab, folded each bag in half and stood on top of them, until the air stopped coming out.- Once each bag was done, it was reduced to about half of its volume. I have a medium-sized Samsonite curve bag, and these items would have taken up the main compartment in its entirety under regular conditions, but now I was able to also fit underwear and nine pairs of shoes in the remaining space. Can't believe it took me so long to purchase these bags. They worked so well I'm saving the Large-sized ones for winter clothing storage.Other notes:- They feel quite sturdy, much more than expected- Make sure you press the snaps twice with the provided tool- You can also sit on top of them to push the air out

Seems perfect so far!
Looking forward to using these on an upcoming trip. Tried it when they arrived with two towels and it did a great job on shrinking them down. It's been 30 minutes and it's still held it's shape. I'll update the review if anything changes but so far I'm pretty impressed.UPDATE: Used them on a 3 week trip and they were great. Easy to use. Loved the large one for holding dirty clothes.
