not gonna lie. I got this based on reviews, I wanted to try a different oil brand. initially I hated the scent. its like a pine type of scent and I hate that smell. but my wife loved the smell so I mean that's all that counts right*, but after maybe three uses ive seriously come to love the smell, its not as dominate as it was initially. so I think maybe once the seal is broken/some air get in there then it mellows out. Oh almost forgot, it helps with softness too. it works best paired with beard lotion but it can work solo as well which is great*not really

Discovered this a year or so ago when I ran into a buddy who had it on. Right away I thought he maybe had a leather jacket or some other piece of leather as it smelled so great. He immediately shared the link with me from Amazon and I ordered it on the spot. On my 3rd bottle now and I love it! Regularly get compliments on it from other people.I had been looking for solid beard oils that smelled like leather for a while and they all were either too perfume-y or blended with wood scents so was happy to find this!If you're looking for a solid leather scent, you've found it!!

Used it twice and that's enough for me. Ordered the Texas leather, smelled like old person cologne and wood. The smell is super over powering as well, the wife was able to smell it once I walked into the living room. Not a great moisturizer either, there's was no difference in the softness of my beard, just left it oily. Sure is a shame, I was really looking forward to a leather smell.

I does soften my beard and makes brushing smoother. I'm not a big fan of the scent.
