This stuff came with a page of instructions which were concise but clear. I thought I had followed them pretty well but it became apparent that the galvanised tube I was applying the solution to was not properly cleaned. When I brushed the solution on it was very obvious that I hadn't done a good enough job preparing the surface. It must be as free from any oil, grease or other contaminants as you can possibly get before you apply it. Get that part right and it works very well. My ONLY issue is that I wish they sold it in smaller quantities because you really don't need much if you do the prep right.

Wanted to paint my metal shed which was badly affected by the weather but painting it directly was not possible because of the rust all around the shed.Got this solution to help me to make this shed worth painting and ectly.I left this solution in my shed overnight. Did not expect too much as she was in poor condition.But I was surprised to see that it did work perfectly and my shed was all ready to paint.Just finished my painting and was so pleased to see it.I can confidently say that it is a reliable and effective solution.Recommended.

Not so good in chemical reaction, but works, just needs time to stay on the metal...

So I applied to weathered galvanized metal as if it's glav' I don't really have a reason to paint that, although I can understand why someone may wish to.The metal did indeed blacken, I left this overnight and I was pleased with the result as I could see a reaction had taken place.I think for lifting something after weather and age has taken it's toll this is going to be useful to have to hand.

Works well and produced a good finish on metal surface ready for final painting.Verdict: Good quality product and as it's hard to find the price is acceptable.
