Let me first say I purchased this for a 3 year old boy. I saw all the reviews saying that they purchased it for girls, but I couldn't see why because they are just tiles! My 3 hear old and I love mixing this set with another one I have to build larger structures. I also think the steps, doors, and two tiny dolls are cute features.I will say that the label of 102 pieces can be deceiving as it comes with "windows" that you place inside of the tiles which seems to account for at least 60 of the 102 pieces. I purchased when it was a lightning deal, so I wasn't put off by the ratio of tiles to pieces. It is easy to put together, clean up, and a toddler can be very creative with the opportunity to incorporate the steps, fences, etc. Great purchase thay I would definitely recommend.

Purchased a set for my daughter's 4th birthday. She played with them so much and often, we got her another set for Christmas a year later. She is now 7 and will still play with these - building and creating. She also incorporates them into play with her other toys, building structures and things to use with her various toy figurines.

The castle arrived timely but I was surprised it wasn’t in a packing box. It appears fine but I won’t open the plastic wrap as it’s a Christmas gift so I won’t know for a while if it’s all as represented. Overall, though, I believe I’ll be happy with my purchase.

I have a 4, 3 and 2 year old. They love these and we’re a great addition to what they have. All of the pieces arrived in the set. My only complaint is the doors pop in and out VERY easily. They’re too young to fix it themselves so I’m constantly fixing it. I think maybe for older kids that might not play as rough, it would be perfect. I highly recommend this set!!! If they go on sale again I might buy it again.

This is an age appropriate toy for a 4 year old girl. The minute she took the pieces from the box she played with great attention. Naming the parts and showing her parents how to use her new toy. Each time she started to build a new castle she would use the additional pieces such as stairs, doors, windows. I think this sturdy toy will be a favorite for a long time.
