2022 is really treating me good because I just added another author to my favorite author list. Wow Somme Sketcher has skyrocket on my personal favorite list. This book was perfection. Absolute perfection! I loved the slow burn so much. Often times I don’t Like it when the story is dragged out but Penny and Rafe needed time to develop strong and genuine feelings.Penny was an absolute delight. I love that she is a material girl. I mean who would say no to some money?! I could identify with her perfectly. She is lucky but somehow unlucky when it comes to love. Her journey was wonderful. I liked that she let Rafe grovel. The groveling was hilarious. Just perfect for a man like Rafe to realize that not everything can be simply bought. The bantering was perfect during the two books! I am really in fangirl heaven because I never expected to fall in love so deeply with these books! I need Gabe’s book now!

I just can't fault this series. Every book has been amazing and I am utterly obsessed.Somme Sketcher is an amazing writer, the whole series is written beautifully and is paced so well. This book had everything I love - slow burn, tension, spice, humour, emotion.Rafe and Penny have my whole heart. They are now one of my favourite book couples ever. I could honestly read a million books about them and never get bored. It was so clear from the start that they were made for each other and watching their story unfold was so emotional and beautiful.Also, every scene with Rafe and Rory had me in stitches. They are so funny together and I adore their relationship.I'm so excited for Gabe and Wren's book!!

RAFE AND PENNY. the best mafia couple i have read to date! who knew i would swoon so much over a mafia billionaire and a swindler.when i tell you that i was head over heels for both of their stubborness. the tension was so thick but thats what made it SO GOOD. neither of them backed down. the banter was hilarious. their bets were wild. and the spice 🫣 this book was *chefs kiss*let’s not forget rafe’s groveling was A1. the man was on his knees for three weeks. THREE WEEKS. while she swindled his money, posted a billboard of him with inappropriate pictures, etc. and it didn’t phase him one bit. OBSESSED.
if you haven’t picked this series up yet, wyd. i say read sinners anonymous just to get it out of the way. but the real series begins in condemned with rafe and penny.
