The pad in these panties are as thin as morning pancakes. Didn’t really make a difference to me. The boxer design is better for hold the pads in place and panties were soft in comfortable. Just need bigger pads. I’m 5’4 170 and order L. Fit well. Legs did rise up when sitting. Walking was ok. Couldn’t tell I had anything on under tights or sweatpants
