The Alpaca Tadpole Trike Carrier is designed for 2” or 11/4" receiver hitches. It features a frame with three height adjustments and three different usable pin spacing to help avoid obstacles on the trike frames, along with our Alpaca Cinch. After the carrier is set up, the spacers remain on the pins. Simply load the trike, run the strap over the frame of the trike, slide the ring on the short strap with the cam-buckle over the end of the pin and tighten the strap. Repeat for the other pin. Secure the rear tire with the ball bungee and you are ready to go.

Be careful which one you order
I ordered (I thought) a double tadpole carrier. delivered and had to order a kit to get 2 tadpoles mounted. $50 shipping on single carrier and another $12 shipping for the parts kit to get both my tadpoles mounted. I checked Amazon again and below my item was the 2 tadpole I wanted. Both pictures for single and double were the same. A little confusing if you have never ordered this item before. Fit is coming but dont know when. Wont be mounting 2 tadpoles till it arrives.This is in no way a negative of ALPACA Carriers. Just a warning to make sure you get a double and not a single like me.SAFE CYCLING
