Collar stopped charging after 3 months
UPDATE #2 I emailed the company with my concern and received an almost immediate response! Collar was quickly replaced and arrived in a few days! Still a tad worried about the longevity of the training collar but customer service was an A+.UPDATE. Purchased November 20th. Used a few times as we only used for specific training situations. Never used outdoors, only indoor and in car training. Collar stopped charging. Can not recommend. We have a stubborn bully mix that already has underground fence collar so he knows the deal. He responds immediately to the beep. No need (so far) to shock. Remote is compact but not too small. Buttons are clear and easy to select correction method. Collar is cheap plastic but can likely replace with thin nylon.

This thing is great because it has 3 choices
I have guilt because this collar didn't seem humane. But after many complaints of barking from my Yorkie I was willing to try anything. This thing is great because it has 3 choices. Beeping, vibrating and shocking. You can adjust the intensity as well. It looked so big on this little guy but it only took him about a minute to get used to it. And it works great and because of the remote I don't have to keep running outside when someone walks by and he barks. I can now let him outside to play on his own. And so far I've only had to use the beep. Only 4 stars because it's a bit big but still works great.

Works but turns off after a certain time period. One time when i was charging this it was vibrating the whole time. Not sure what this means but it has helped tremendously in training my dog to stay close and to listen when its time to come home. Just make the collar beep and she comes home.

The magic collar.
This Dog training device is the best, I could't ask for anything better. I tried everything to control my dog, a Aussie pup She is a toy size. very small, causing big damage to my home and everything I own. I spent about $5.000 in dog training schools at least 10,000 in damages in rugs and carpets. There seamed to be nothing that She didn't urinate or poop on. I was about to give up, but decided to try one more thing, a dog training collar. When I saw how many there are, I thought OMG how am I so-pose to pick a good one. Some of the reviews looked great, But when you look at the one or two star reviews the story changed, from the best to warning! do not buy! What I believe is the suppliers are trying to saturate as many good reviews as they can, trying to fool You, hoping that consumers just won't take the time to look at all the reviews. ~ Let me tell You, almost as soon as I put this amazing training collar on, the little devil dog I have, with using just the sound and once with the vibrate button, All my problems where over! Like magic! Some dogs just need a kick in the ass, and this collar is God sent. It's hi quality, charges fast, seams to last a very long time on just one charge. It dose more then You would ever imagine, with a half a mile range. I'm handicapped with MS. I hardly can walk, so to let my dog loose always was a big problem, because She mostly would not come back to me and I not being able to catch Her without hurting myself, falling all the time. Now She is like the perfect little robot dog. LOL Thank God! for this training collar, just a push of a button, and like magic, all my problems are solved.

Receiver goes to sleep/Not useful for training
When first powered on, the receiver will react immediately to the remote. If you do not use the remote for a period of time, the receiver does not respond until the desired button is pressed a number of times, it is as though the receiver goes into a sleep mode.. By the time the receiver does react, the negative action I was trying to correct was over. Because of this, the product is simply not useful for training. I used only the beep and vibrate functions, I did not use the shock function but have no reason to believe the reaction time would be any different.

This collar has been very beneficial in assisting to train an untrained 7 year old Dalmatian
This collar has been very beneficial in assisting to train an untrained 7 year old Dalmatian. I have never had to use the shock feature as the vibration feature and the beeping feature have worked very well. I now rarely use the vibration feature as she responds 90 percent of the time with the beeping feature. I have found that the collar will last 4 or 5 days before requiring recharge. The manual says 1 week but it may depend on the activity of the dog.

Collar is a good training collar for younger dogs
Collar is a good training collar for younger dogs, the only thing that I was disappointed about is it loses it charge even when it is turned off in a day or two and you have to recharge the collar more often then the remote. Also the levels seem to have to be used much higher than what you should use to train, but I would recommend it to those who need help with younger dogs that are just being trained.

Nice size, good distance, and easy to set up. I lost one of the push-on prong extenders and the seller has been great.
I have tried this collar for some time now. Originally my 6 month old Wheaten Terrier puppy would respond to the vibration but has now gotten to ignore it. Have found that it must be tight enough to work properly and my puppy responds well to vibration again. His hair is long and thick so the higher settings work best for us. Good product and good range.
