Great bottle, great value!
I'm a reasonably active guy - I golf a couple of times a week, run nearly every day, and spend a fair bit of my vacations outdoors. So I have 4-5 water bottles, all from "name" manufacturers. Unfortunately, even when they're crammed with ice to start, none of them can keep my drink cold for long when I'm outside, and with one exception they sweat like linebackers in a Zumba class. This usually means that there's a puddle in the cup holder of my car, or water dripping from my golf bag, or wet socks in my day pack. These are not fun things. For a recent trip, one of my wife's friends loaned her a double-wall stainless drink bottle, and after living with it for a week, we decided that we should have ones of our own. When I went to the website of the loaner bottle I got a bit of sticker shock, so I started looking for a substitute that would work as well but perhaps not force me to part with a c-note for a pair. I wanted a bottle that would keep ice frozen long enough to have ice in my refill (which means that it had to have a big enough opening to put ice in it in the first place), didn't sweat, fit in the cup holder of my car, and didn't cost an arm and a leg. After reading a lot of Amazon reviews, I settled on the AquaFlask, and bought a pair for me and my wife (for the same cost as buying a single one of the fancy bottle my wife had borrowed which, incidentally, doesn't fit in any cup holder we could find).I'll cut to the chase - I don't have a single bad thing to say about these bottles. The day they arrived I washed them, then filled mine with ice and water, refilling the water several times during the evening. When I went to refill the bottle in the morning as preparation for a 6 hour car trip, there was still ice in it from the previous night! I topped the bottle up with ice, refilled the water, and had cold water for the entire trip, using the same ice for several refills. The AquaFlask didn't sweat, fit the cup holder, and kept my beverage ice cold all day. Since then I've used it while golfing in near 100 degree temps, taken it to the gym, and used it as a flask for rum drinks, and it's been perfect for every occasion. Our Maytag ice maker makes pretty standard crescent moon ice, and it the "cubes" fit through the neck of the AquaFlask, although the ones that have a bit of "flash" on the edges need a minute to melt before they fall through.I'm ambivalent about the handle - I don't often carry the bottle by the handle, so it's sometimes a bit in the way, but I like being able to stand the neck up on the handle to keep it off the ground when I'm outside, and setting the handle 90 degrees to the bottle keeps it from rolling around if you need to put it on the seat or in the floor of your car (we have one car with the worst cup holders ever designed, don't judge anything by whether it fits these cupholders - I'm pretty sure that espresso was invented just so you could have a cup of coffee in these cup holders). So I'm going to call it a wash. If it really bothers me it won't take but a minute with a hacksaw to solve the problem, but for now I'm leaving it alone. One reviewer claimed that the finish was so strange feeling that they couldn't use the bottle. With all apologies to that reviewer, they have issues that go way beyond water bottles. The finish feels like chalkboard paint, and in fact we've taken to labeling our bottles by writing our names on them with sidewalk chalk. I really like that the finish doesn't get slippery when it's wet (just because the AquaFlask doesn't sweat doesn't mean that I don't...) I had concerns about the dark finish causing the bottle to heat up, but it hasn't been an issue. The finish did take fingerprints badly until it had been washed a couple of times, but now it seems pretty impervious to them. We haven't babied the bottles, and the finish shows no sign of chipping or scratching. If it does, these are stainless steel bottles and should be very simple to paint. Some people complain that the bottle is heavy. Perhaps those people missed the fact that this is a DOUBLE-WALL STAINLESS STEEL BOTTLE!!! That means that it's really two bottles, and they're both made out of stainless freaking steel. If you get a light, single-wall stainless steel bottle, you're going to be drinking warm water in 20 minutes, and you're going to have a puddle in your cup holder or wet socks in your pack. If you value a light bottle over cold water, your choices are virtually limitless, and while the AquaFlask weighs more than a single-wall metal bottle, or a plastic or glass bottle, it really isn't "heavy" in the absolute sense. I mean, a very small child could carry this bottle easily, even when it's full. I have hiked with this bottle, and for me the value of having cold water for the duration of the hike far outweighs the few extra ounces to carry. To get all of this for $25 is an outstanding value. I'm hoping that as the company grows they will offer a choice of colors and sizes, and perhaps even a wide-mouthed, large capacity bottle (see the 64oz growler from Hydroflask for inspiration). If they do, I will buy those as well. That's a measure of how much I love the bottle I have. I simply don't believe that there is another bottle this good at this price.

The BEST water bottle on the market!
First, I have to say that delivery time was phenomenally fast, something I and probably most customers appreciate tremendously. Then... I decided to purchase a good water bottle because I don't drink enough water during my long days at the office. I actually did a fair amount of research into them, too, deciding that if I was going to spend more than the $7 or $8 on the cheaper ones available at department and grocery stores, I might as well spend the higher dollar on one that would prove to be worth it. I read review after review of bottles - or "sippers," as they call them at the office. I read rants, raves, and everything in between; I'd guesstimate they were 60% in between, with rants at about 30%, raves the lowest at the remaining 10%. One rave that came up time and again was for a sipper (I won't mention the brand) favored by celebrities. At nearly $80, however, even if it IS the best sipper on the market, I felt I'd be paying at least $40 of that for the caché and not the true quality. Plus, at $80, it better walk to the water cooler, fill itself, walk back, and magically lift itself from my desk to my lips. What I wanted was a sipper that worked well, keeping my hot coffee hot throughout the morning and my cold water cold all afternoon, and something not overly outrageous visually - no flowers, plaids, or baby animals; something a bit more elegant in style. When I hit upon this AquaFlask, it seemed the exact thing immediately: reasonably priced, not a bit ostentatious, CLASSY, and with excellent reviews, a few of the raves I mentioned earlier. I ordered, and when it arrived a few days later, I was doubly delighted at its size, which I hadn't been able to picture in my mind. It's HUGE, and my afternoon water, still cold-cold-cold when I leave the office for the day, is most days not even completely finished. I'd also ordered a brush cleaning kit specifically designed for sippers. Both arrived the same day, and I happened to open the kit first. It should have clued me in to the size of the sipper, since the primary brush was also HUGE. So, to anyone out there looking for a remarkably well-made sipper at less than half the cost of the "celebrity" model, go with AquaFlask. Trust me, I strongly doubt you'll be disappointed. And to the AquaFlask company, thank you for creating and marketing such a wonderful, wonderful product. I LOVE IT!

Great Alternative to Other More Costly Flasks
I've purchased a number of the Hydroflask units within the past 2 years, some for myself and some as gifts. . . and I've always been impressed with the quality and ability to keep things cold for a ridiculous number of hours. However, I managed to come across the Aquaflask the other day as I was researching a size that Hydroflask didn't offer. I started the 17 Day Diet and have been making smoothies in the morning. The Hydroflask 24 oz was just a little too small to handle what I needed and their 32 oz flask was too thick to fit in my cup holder in the car. This is where the AquaFlask won out. At 27 oz, it was a perfect volume and fit perfectly in the cup holder. Add to that the handle and it was a no brainer. It has kept my smoothie cold just as well as the Hydroflask and I saved about $7 in addition to getting the extra 3 oz that made the difference for me. May sound picky, but I hated having the left overs every time I made my smoothies. Gray is a little boring, but the trade off is worth it. I wish they would have come out with additional colors, but I understand that they haven't quite established the presence of other bigger, more established companies. Gotta start somewhere right? The cap, in my humble opinion is easier to work with than the Hydroflask caps as well. . . .less stress on my hands, .. which are beginning to show some signs of arthritis. Some people have complained about the cap not being tethered somehow. I can see how that would be a nice addition, but it wasn't a deal breaker. I also like the fact that they are an environmentally conscious company. That definitely made some big points with me. If you're on the fence. . .jump, it's a great product and I don't believe you'll be disappointed.

Fantastic flask.
Before buying this I read all the reviews of this and some other similar products and chose this one because it seemed a good compromise between quality and price. I am absolutely delighted with the flask. I am currently in Portugal where it's 36 degrees in the shade so to test this flask out I deliberately put it out in the direct sun for 2 hours this morning. The results were great - the metal outside was almost too hot to touch but the water inside was still really really cold - amazingly so. And it tasted good rather than like warm plastic! I am so impressed I've bought a second flask. I have no doubt that it would stay cold in "normal" heat such as inside a backpack or beach bag for many hours.Great product, very good looking, excellent quality and a good price.

Well Worth The Cost
This is a very well made water bottle and keeps my water cool throughout the day. The carry handle is a great idea and can be used to secure the bottle to a water carrier on a rucksack with one of the external straps. The surface finish is great and non-slip as stated.I really only have a couple of observations. First is that the cap has no real grip. There are indents around the top but not coarse enough to get a purchase on with wet or sweaty hands. The second is my bugbear with flimsy plastic drink bottles in the form of that fluted narrowing at the base designed to make a bottle easy to knock over. This water bottle has the same design and I am not sure why that should be. A flat bottom would have made it more stable. These are minor design issues and the look and sturdiness of the bottle outweigh these things.

Glad I chose this
I need to drink more water. At home it's no problem but in the office we're restricted to the odd, remote water dispenser which uses tiny plastic cups and no ability to fill bottles, by design. There's no way I'm forking out for bottled water and so I have tried plastic, refillable drinks bottles from home which, whilst OK, are too small and don't keep the liquid cool. So, I went looking for a larger bottle with a vacuum design; not too big and not too small, and this was amongst many that I found. The size, though, seemed ideal for what I wanted and I quickly began to eliminate a lot of other ones from the list. I ended up with the AquaFlask 800 ml, partly because I also liked the sound of the company behind it. I have to say it's even better than I was expecting. It feels lighter than I expected it to, going by some of the comments, and the size is not an issue at all; I wanted to be able to hold more than 500 ml but not have the huge bulk of a 1 l bottle, and this fits the bill perfectly. The handle is a nice touch although, so far, I've just carried it inside my laptop bag. The design and finish are top-notch, which is good because it's going to get a lot of use!

The Best Ever Aqua Flask !!
I've had quite a few after bottles/ Flasks in my time and I have to say that this one is the best. Pour cold water in at night and it's still as cold and fresh in the morning. I've even had the water still being cold and fresh after almost sixteen hours. So for me this well made and designed AquaFlask is simply the best.I like the handle and find it easy to use, even with my arthritic hands and the drinking /refill spout is ideal for drinking from too. I have no hesitation in highly recommending this flask/water bottle to all my friends.

Very good, but very bulky
This is really large, but very high quality. Because it is insulated, it seems bulkier than my other water bottles that hold similar amounts. It means it doesn't fit in some of the water bottle holders on my backpacks for hiking, so bear that in mind and have a look at the size of yours if you are buying it for camping. It is extremely robust though, and it keeps liquids either hot or cold.
