Poorly designed and unreliable. Look Elsewhere for your needs
Long review. TL;DR at the bottom.First a little background.... Our son is medically fragile, non-verbal, and suffers from seizures. Over the years we have gone through camera system after camera system, and none of them have fit all of our needs, but most of them were good enough to help us monitor him when we can't be in the room. When we found Project Nursery, it seems to have everything we wanted. WiFi connection, a dedicated monitor AND an app so that we could use our phones/tablets. The WiFi is also important because our house is older with plaster walls that can sometimes hinder regular monitor signals. The price was a bit steep on this but that wasn't a deterrent. Our thoughts were it must be good at that price.We were wrong. We should have returned it right from the start. The first camera that was shipped to us was defective. The power connection inside the camera broke loose the moment we plugged it in and rendered the camera unusable. I just thought it was a defect with this one camera, and since none of the reviews I read mentioned this defect, I figured it was a one time problem. So we returned it and ordered another from Amazon.Fast forward and we receive our new camera and start setting up. We didn't have any of the setup issues that some other reviewers mentioned. It connected on the first try and we were very happy with the picture and sound quality. Then the problems started. Within a few hours the monitor went blank and apparently lost connection with the camera. This problem persisted for months. At first you could just restart the monitor and that would work. Then you had to restart the monitor while being within a few feet of the camera in order to get connected. Then you had to restart the camera itself AND the monitor. Then you had to unplug the camera completely, wait a minute, and then restart. It got ridiculous.I should mention that about 85% of the time, the app worked and stayed connected. Much better than the monitor, but not convenient to have to rely on your phone to use the system. We liked it as an additional feature, not the only way we could use it.This morning, but the app and the monitor lost connection. I went in to go reset the camera and realized it was off. I unplugged the camera and when I went to go plug it back in the inside connector for the power broke off again. This is obviously a design flaw and needs to be fixed ASAP.Since we are no longer able to return this camera for a refund, I am contacting Project Nursery now and hoping that they will honor their warranty and send me a new camera so that we have something while we look for another system.TL;DR- Don't waste your time or money. Constantly loses connection and the power connector breaks ridiculously easy.UPDATE: Just so I can be fair, I wanted to update my review. Customer service responded quickly when I called and after providing proof of purchase they honored the warranty and shipped a new camera. Should be here today, which I would consider a very fast response. The review stays at 1 star because overall the product is flawed, but their customer service deserves some credit

Garbage!
It’s hard to describe how bad this product is without cursing. The packaging and look and feel is all great. Then you try to use it and it goes down hill quickly. The set up with the app is just awful and glitchy. Then if you’re lucky enough to get the app and cameras connected it is dated and poorly designed. I couldn’t get sound out of the phone app for the life of me, and it appears to only have two volume settings - mute and no sound. Camera freezes constantly. Cameras that get connected then disconnect randomly for no reason. I bought a second camera to sync up and it was bad too. Nothing works properly. I could go on but I’ve already wasted hours on this awful product. Don’t waste your time buying and unpacking this only to pack it back up and return it.

Don't buy this product!
Unfortunately this product was a bust. The camera would not rotate in all directions and did not remain connected to my phone. If you router is less than 30 feet from the crib you may be okay, mine was 35 and I had a tremendous amount of difficulty with the connection. Either way, I returned it due to the defect in the camera. The features look great if they worked. I purchased a lesser model of a different brand and it works extremely well.

It is ok about 50% of the time. The monitor freezes and crashes.

Setup is super simple.
I just got done setting up this camera and I must say, the setup is very simple. All I had to do was scan a QR code to set up the camera. The camera picture is extremely clear and using the night vision is truly amazing. Being able to view the camera in nursery from my iPhone as-well-as the monitor is a great benefit. This is a great product and would highly recommend this product to everyone.

Broke two different ways
I REALLY wanted this product to work despite several bad reviews I read. Unfortunately, set up was extremely didficult and the camera would not automatically reconnect once I turned it off. That was extremely inconvenient which required me to resort to just leaving the camera on constantly which I am sure was not good for the product. I even tried reaching out to customer service and that would help temporarily but not long term. Not only that, but the part in the back where you connect the cord completely broke which means I can no longer connect it. This product is completely useless to me now and my window to return just closed. I am going to research my options because this was a lot of money to just go down the drain.

Waste of money
Don’t waster your time. Over an hour to set up. Monitor has a delay. You cannot reset the time. Extremely disappointed.

Biggest Disappointment, don’t bother
Auctally the worst monitor I have ever owned. Doesn’t ever deserve a star rating at all. Biggest waste of money. The people that have has success with this piece of junk were very lucky. Any new mom out their don’t bother with this, you will just be spending your money in something that will just make you super frustrated. Wish I never brought this, I’m beyond disappointed.

A Temperamental Device
To get it working I needed to change WiFi APs from a high end unit to the one provided by my ISP, and it still occasionally drops, requiring powering cycling of both the monitoring unit and camera. The unit usually drops the monitor video stream when a remote user joins on SD.The talk function comes out garbled, and just plain scary.We've learned to live with the faults, by switching the units off when not in use (to ensure regular off-on power cycle), and only connect remotely on HD.I actually kept the box for awhile contemplating returning it.Would I recommend it? "No", however I haven't tried any other baby monitors, and all monitors seem to have their fair share of bad reviews, then again the other monitors don't cost as much as this one.Pros:- Night vision is awesome- Microphone is good- Ability to set alerts based on sound is handy (I haven't tried motion).- Both units having a battery is convenient.
