This is just as good as Sarna brand lotion. I purchased this because of the price. Sarna has changed their formula and it was three times the price of this. Works great for sunburn.

This item is a QUALITY replacement for Sarna Lotion (the old formula with menthol & camphor)!The Sarna folks chose to change a good formulation that worked for me for many years. Now, I will use the RUGBY product which is made the older way. FYI, I am a pharmacist and have compounded many prescriptions from scratch but NOW retired. I know the difference!

So far so good... I was trying to find the original Sarna when this popped up as a suggestion from Amazon, so I bought a bottle to give it a try. It seems to be the same formulation as the original Sarna, so I'm a happy customer... I'll be buying more.

It stops the itching for awhile.

I have a skin condition that causes itching throughout my body. This lotion stops the itchness and last for longer period of time. I previously used Sarna lotion 5% menthol and 5 % camphor.However, I have been unable to locate it. Apparently, it has been disconnected.I was EXTREMELY glad to find the Rugby lotion with the same two ingredients.
