I have broken my 7+ two times now and used these screens both times to fix the phone. You definitely need to know what you are doing to replace the screen but these screens work and look very nice. You cannot tell a difference.

The screen arrived promptly, and included the tools needed for replacement. I had some trouble with the quality of the “tri-tipped” tool (the most used tool of the job), because of it’s poor quality but it got the job done. The main plug-in for the screen was not quite an exact fit, and was about 3mm offset from OEM. It worked, but barely fit. Working slowly, meticulously on a clean well lit workbench, the job took about 4hrs.The phone worked well for about 2 weeks, then problems with touch screen responsiveness began. At first there were occasional missed swipes, but the problems escalated on total unresonsiveness within another 2weeks.I suspect the miss-sized main screen plugin is at fault. My phone is now useless. I was better off before this repair when my cracked screen was covered with clear packing tape.

I’ve repaired a handful of cracked iPhones, everything from an iPhone 4 to now the 7 Plus. All of the repair kits I’ve purchased through Amazon have worked, the packaging and attention to detail is the main differentiator.I ordered the kit for a white iPhone 7 Plus, but got the black kit (I double checked), decided to run with it anyway. It came in a basic plastic clamshell without a single page of instructions, no box as shown in the photos. The only anti-static material was ironically the bag taped to the back with spudger and other tools.The spudger was clearly already heavily used and the protective film on the screen was scratched like it slid across the floor a few times. Kit does not include a replacement waterproof seal, no adhesive added where components removed from the old screen ought to be affixed.This kit is bare-bones, but it does work and looks about as bright as the OEM screen.

I read the reviews before purchasing and I saw about half of them said the package came with the wrong sized tools, and the other half said it was perfect and everything came great. So I guess when purchasing this, you either get lucky or you get screwed. The screen came just fine, it was the right size for the right phone. The tools were completely wrong, and way too big. I had my brother attempt to fix it, and after several minutes of attempting to unscrew, he said the screwdrivers were too big and there was no chance they would fit to get the screws out. I ended up having to purchase a new set of tools for $13 on Amazon. I would recommend that you either look for a different screen replacement and see if you can determine if it comes with the correct tools based off the reviews, or just purchase this for the screen and find the set of the correct tools for $13, unless you get lucky and the correct tools happen to come with your purchase.

I would highly recommend buying this screen! The touch works great and rarely lags after replacement. I had to go through 3 other screens before I found the right and more reiable one and this is it!

I now understand why the labor charge to replace a screen is around $50. It's very tedious. Took me about 2 hours (yes ... slow...) but worked great and I didn't break anything!

Easy to install and works just like the original

easy to replace, looks are great turned off but bad digitizer in al aspects. Also colors not good at all. Get a better screen. It took me 3 minutes to write this review with the new screen.
