V-1HD Roland's V-1HD 4 x HDMI Input Switcher is a portable solution for HD video production that accommodates up to four HD inputs. The inputs each have a frame buffer/TBC so you don't need to genlock your input sources together. You can control the switcher manually by using the built-in controls, or connect it to a computer or iPad running optional software for electronic control. Select your working resolution and switch between your four input sources. Built into the switcher is a 12-channel audio mixer which can de-embed and embed audio signals from HDMI. The integrated T-fader allows you to manually control the speed of transitions, or you can use the take button to actuate your selected transition. The unit features a program and multi-view preview output, as well as an analog audio input and output. Though small in size, it allows you to perform picture-in-picture, green screen, and other keying effects, while a transform control enables advanced video effects on your footage. CB-BV1 The Roland CB-BV1 Carrying Bag is designed to shield your Roland V-1HD or V-1SDI video switcher from bumps and knocks while on the go. The bag is constructed from a 600D polyester and ripstop nylon exterior, while the interior boasts a thick padded fleece with foam padding. There is plenty of room for accessories, such as a power supply and cables.

The best switcher in the market. Portable, low weight, great HD image quality. Easy to use.Do not use cables larger than 15 meters.The bad has no USB 3.0 output, to stream online you must buy a capture card separately.

Works very well
Out of the box, the switcher worked very well. It seems well made. The bag fits well. I wondered what the cable tie was for, but then was straightening up, and realized I had a nice cable tie! Roland’s software downloaded and works great. The instruction take a bit of review and trial and error, but there are so many functions, you can do way more than I have had a need so far. With 4 HDMI inputs, I keep thinking up new things to connect. This particular package was the same price as others that only sold the switcher, so it is a good deal.

Easy to configure and control without a PC.
I have installed and configured lots of this for client. Love the easy configuration and controls without a PC , like the other brands.Wish it has webcam out or built in Livestream encoder for the price.

It works perfect I do three streams a week with it, works perfectly, is compact, has enough options, you can do picture on picture, split screen, and different transition effects

Easy to use!
If you use OBS or any other software for broadcasting and want to use multiple camera without compromising your computer this is what you need. It’s super easy to use, just plug and play. I didn’t have any previous experience with any other switch or equipment like this and it’s was so easy that you don’t need to read the instructions. Highly recommended.

Mistake on Information provided
Prior to purchase, we contacted Roland regarding this item and was told it would work as a switcher. So we ordered it and after shipped in the mail unable to stop it. a new individual at Roland indicated they misunderstood our question and that the until would require to spend another $600 to record or work. I sure this works great but make sure you don't have to buy a lot of extra equipment to fit your application
