The FastLacer ankle brace is one of the most popular speed lacer ankle support on the market today. The FastLacer's ankle stabilizer's "lace up" closure allows fast / friendly application that can be applied quickly without the need to tighten the laces, just apply the velcro ends anywhere on surface of the fabric. Used by athletes at all levels for prevention or after acute ankle injuries, this brace provides eversion and inversion (side-to-side) while still allowing enough movement for athletic performance. This superior ankle brace is very popular for every single sport activity, because it securely locks the ankle, similar to an athletic ankle taping, but does not contain hard plastic supports (stays) or pieces. Universally made to fit either a left or right ankle. This listing is for a single brace

Very good, but does not seem to immobilize...
This ankle brace is very quick to put on due to the extensive use of Velcro on bot the straps and laces. The support seems good and has been attested to by other reviewers. My son in law also swears by these which is enough for me.I decided to get an ankle brace after hiking too far a couple of weeks ago. My legs and ankles were getting weak by the time I got to the top of the mountain and I was worried about rolling my ankle on the way down. I was loaned an "old style" ankle brace by one of the kids we were with and it saved me from injuring my ankle several times on the way down. The brace I was using was stiff like a new "army" boot and would transfer part of the pressure from my ankle turning to the top edge of the brace, digging into my calf a little. Not too big a deal, but I don't expect that with this "softer" design. I may get an "old style" brace also, in case I truly want to immobilize my ankle. Another reviewer likened this brace to a very good application of sports tape. The only complaints I have is that there were no instructions includied and that the brace could use a loop at the top back to help put it on (similar to a hiking boot and sports shoe).

Came with zero instruction
The brace took a long time to arrive and when it came, it had zero instructions. It just arrived in a bag so I donโt know if itโs used or not. Very confusing.

They work just as advertised
These are working like a charm for my ankle, which I badly twisted last year whilst doing a workout. I bought a name brand, but in my opinion, the FastLacer is better and so is the fit. They're less than half the price of the name brand, but you wouldn't know it from the quality and durability. I'm glad I made the purchase!

Sizes run small, otherwise a good brace.
This is the second try for this product. I ordered the first one for my girlfriend using their chart which said she needed a medium. This was much too big. I returned it and the small arrived which fit and functioned well. It takes a little time to figure out how to adjust it properly at first, but now she uses it without issue and can stay on her feet all day.

Top wrap defective
The top wrap closure was not by large enough to close over the brace.

Cheap knockoff of ASO's
I recently wore out my ASO speed lacer braces and needed to replace them. I ran across these and the reviews seemed promising for a brace that was 8 dollars cheaper. I absolutely loved my aso speed lacers which lasted 2 full years under heavy use and gave me excellent ankle support. These are sufficient, but definitely not worth saving the 8 bucks. They do have good ankle support, though not as good as the ASO's. The main complaint is they are very bulky and feel cumbersome. I would forget my previous braces where on, these feel clumsy and am always aware they are there. These will work but I will replace them soon with the ASO's and keep these as a backup. If you are considering these my recommendation is to do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on the ASO's.
