It does not take up very much room on my desk unlike my desktop speakers and it is equally as loud but is very clear. I generally find quite a few cons to go with the pros of devices but this one works better than I expected it to and I have not found a single con I can mention. I made a small video showing the sound of the speaker and its ease of use so hopefully it helps people and excuse me if you have a problem hearing me I do not have a decent camera but I want you to get the idea and actually get to hear for yourself what this speaker sounds like. Really like it so it is good in my book hope it works great for you as well.

This looks very nice, and seems high quality, but I was very disappointed in the sound (or lack of it). I've had "little speakers" before and possibly I expected too much. But we found ourselves undoing it, and listening instead to the little built-in speaker on the Macbook. Again, perhaps I expected too much. It's also a bit awkward to place/charge with the cord as it is. But overall, simply not enough sound.

I used this twice as a speaker fpr my laptop while RV'ing. The audio pin broke off and got stuck in my computer speaker receiver. I finally got the little silver end piece out but now I have no sound at all coming from my laptop. I am going to have to take it to the computer guru and have it repaired. This speaker was built very cheap. I would not recommend it to anyone. Its too late to return this item as it was purchased about 3 months ago.

I really like it! I bought it just to try it out because I wanted a speaker that I didn't have to connect to an outlet and that was not bulky, but that was loud enough for the classroom (I'm a teacher). Sometimes I have to go to another classroom and did not want to carry the speakers I had. The sound is great. A student asked me where the sound was coming from because he didn't see the usual speakers I had. I am very happy with my purchase.

Surprisingly good for the cheap price. Works great on a tiny desk as an upgrade to the crappy monitor speakers.Also works great hooked to a laptop for music. Can it compete with Bose or Sony? Oh heck no. However, you get a lot of performance for a tiny price. Don't suffer with awful built in speakers. Try it. I dig it.

I liked the price. I liked the look. I liked the fast delivery.I didn’t like the sound at any volume. I plugged it into my TVs earphone jack and then my iPhone jack. They both had staticky sound. I didn’t expect much and got less. Returned and found a much better speaker at a local Fredmeyer store and paid 35¢ more.

Great little speaker for the price and size, but it only plays the right channel. No easy way to switch output to Mono in windows 10 so you get both channels. Id give it a 5 if it was rewired to play both channels in through the speaker.
