For anyone using this: is this as effective as quikclot or celox products?

I've never personally had to use it, thank God. WE carry this brand in out trauma bags at work, and people who have used them say it's pretty effective

How long is the gauze strip? I'm liking the description, but everyone that sells these tells you how long it is. Why don't you? Is it sized for ants?

Do you put this directly into and open wound as you would Celox?

Yes. Mechanism of action is the same. Depending on the where and when of the trauma, consider packing crinkle gauze on top of it and securing with a pressure dressing.
