This comb has gone through tough times in the year I’ve had it but somehow it’s still in excellent condition. First, when it comes to the intended use, it works great for detangling as it doesn’t cause much static. It works great for corse, long, curly and chemically treated hair. Great for flat ironing at 450 degrees, keratin treatments and dying/bleaching. Second, it served as a wonderful s’mores’ marshmallows stick (seriously). Just a little discoloration at the tip, but no burnt smell or smoke from it. Easy to clean afterwards before going back into the hair tools drawer. Oh, it makes a great scratching tool, mixer and more! I couldn’t ask for more from a comb.
