You can never go wrong with a uni pencil. Very quality build, works really well. However this is not as good as the advance upgrade model but still a really good pencil.

I originally bought the green single one and came back and bought this pack it writes amazing and truly does turn while writing. Highly recommend these!!

The pencil is really smooth to write with and has a nice aesthetic design, but the eraser keeps me from giving it 5 stars. The eraser is high quality and doesn’t smudge, but it is too small for my needs. I am a full time student that uses this pencil for many hours in a day, and that means a lot of erasing throughout the day. I have gone through a full eraser within two days of receiving the pencil. I feel like it is too small in diameter, and too short in length. When the eraser wears down, it becomes difficult to press down the top to make the graphite come out, which can be very uncomfortable and inconvenient while writing. I think I will start carrying around a separate eraser to make sure that this one doesn’t wear down completely, but that is my only critique. Other than the eraser, I have never used a more high quality mechanical pencil, as it is really smooth to write with and feels like the graphite just flows on the paper.

Uni provides a great m chemical pencil that does what it advertises.

You won’t find anything better

The rotating lead feature, rotates a bit every time you write a character, keeps the lead sharper and consistent. No chisel point or wider stroke line as you write. The lead can be tucked in and away when not required. The writing time between lead extensions is longer due to the sliding guide, no more pumping lead as often. The eraser is quite small though.

I had the regular kurutoga and now the advanced kurutoga. The advance version has a retractable lead sleeve so when not in use the tip will not poke the shirt pocket. Also the lead is very unlikly to break in writing, which could happen in the regular design if you have heavy stroke. The lead lasts much longer before needing click to feed. The build quality is top notch. The design is elegant, and very comfortable to use, same with the regular kurutoga. Upon writing with it I feel the lead is not as smooth as the regular design, due to the lead sleeve in contact with the paper. It is noticeable but tolerable to use. Otherwise feed the lead regularly to avoid the sleeve touching the paper.
