Simplify Folding Storage Ottoman, Toy Box Chest, Faux Leather,Tufted Padded Seating, Bench, Foot Rest, Stool, Double, Ivory

I was very skeptical as to how some thing that folded could be so sturdy for someone to be able to stand on top but it’s true. Set it up as easily as any foldable cube and it really is that sturdy. Very nice looking very strong and a great addition to our living room to be able to hold all of our gaming controllers and video games and that sort of stuff. This was exactly what I was looking for and I am extremely happy with it. Would recommend to anybody.

Purchased this item to temporarily use in place of our coffee table since we have a baby that's pulling up now. Item looks pretty nice actually considering it wasn't too terribly expensive.Likes: -Pretty shade of gray. -Nice appearance overall. -Seems pretty sturdy even though it's collapsible. -Just the right amount of cushion on top. -Nice storage capacity. -Baby enjoys putting herself up using it and I don't have to worry about her bruising her head on it.Dislikes:A tad awkward to try to move only because there's good way to grab ahold of it.

I like the vibrant red color. I wanted a brighter look and this is just right. I opened the box, popped it up, put the insert at the bottom and put the padded top on and was good to go. The storage space is generous and can stand up to someone sitting on it without the ottoman loosing its shape.A perfect buy!

Just received mine today and I can’t believe how nice it is. Buying something that arrives nicer than you expected is rare.The red is gorgeous. The material feels and looks significantly better than the price. The storage is huge.Assembly isn’t even assembly. You pull it out of the box, unfold it, and put on the lid.This is a comfy foot stool as well as a place to hide things you don’t want the dog to steal. (Yes, I bought this mostly to hide things from my dog) I will be back for more. Now I want one for every room. It’s so pretty!

I bought this ottoman in the chocolate color to have by my recliner to store my odds and ends that I wanted to keep by me, but out of site. I use it to store extra power cords, user manuals, magazines, etc. I've had it for over two years and it still looks as good as new. This includes being used by my shihtzu/bichon and the cat as a stepping stool to either get our attention or to get up onto a reclined chair a bit easier. There are NO puncture marks from dog claws on the top, which is quite miraculous! I like that it is vinyl because it was easy to wipe off any paw prints, etc. I do need to replace it, however, because we had a dog at our house that was marking it and I cannot get the odor out. (I've tried various methods to remove the odor, but I fear it's permanent with this ottoman.) Maybe my hubs can use it in the garage. It's low enough to sit on while tinkering with the lawnmower and/or snow blower, although I don't know how sturdy it is for sitting on. Anyhow, I have been impressed with how well it has withstood for the past two+ years. To me, it looks like a very rich chocolate leather.

Attractive-sturdy storage box/footstool. Well constructed (I ordered red faux leather) and color was as shown. Easy to set up and take down to store out of way as I use it as a footstool in kitchen. Very sturdier and is a nice size for storage/seating if that’s the intended purpose for purchase. Very pleased with purchase and Would highly recommend.

** UPDATED REVIEW! **My NEW Comments:1) This is actually better looking than the photos! It looks and feels like a small, cube-shaped piece of furniture. The lid fits well. The stitching and button add a touch of class.2) The color is different from the photo, as I suspected it would be. It's actually a nice, rich, VERY dark chocolate brown that matches my decor (and my sofa!) perfectly. I even bought its larger, rectangular offspring to use as a storage bench.3) You can store a lot of stuff in this thing! I personally use it as a file box and ottoman. The height is such that you can store files and notebooks upright, so this is ideal if your living room happens to double as your office or if you need an ottoman with storage.4) Okay, I did read the warnings about the smell. I thought this meant it would have that slight "new shower curtain" smell of yesteryear. I was wrong. Wow, did this thing wreak when I first got it, to the point where I had a slight headache, but I'm sensitive to strong odors. And for the first couple of weeks, I didn't want the items near me.5) UPDATE: THE SMELL COMPLETELY FADED after a few weeks, and I changed my review of the ottoman to 5 stars. I'm glad it didn't stop me from buying the product, and I encourage it not to stop you, especially if you are not as sensitive to that "new vinyl" odor!The quality is outstanding for the price!

I looked around, needed that black/brown color to match and at the "biggest" retailer it was only 1'x1'x1' and like $25. So for a foot rest, wanted bigger. I will say it will NOT hold my weight to sit on it but I got one bigger from the furniture store that cost >$350 that will, but this matches the color. You can feel it compared to the other one or my couch&love seat (which all are leather) and tell it's 'plastic-yee' but it makes a good foot rest.The thing about it that I don't like was the smell. Man, it was strong and hard, that smell of plastic manufactured stuff. It came shrink wrapped in plastic so I could not tell until I took the plastic off.I could not take it, the smell, so I washed it off with damp cloth and soap, then washed all that off, out it outside in the sun and wind with a lot of frebreeze on it it and after 6+ hours the 'smell' was acceptable. If I had to put my finger on the smell, it would be formaldehyde, that's used in the manufacture of PVC plastics, most of the time. But, just wipe/wash it off, stick it outside for a day and the smell would be gone. Now that's just because I wanted a foot rest bigger than 1'x1'x1', so I can live with it.It's good for blankets or small pillows and just don't use it as a seat (if your >100 lbs).
