Best of this kind of gizmo
It works with 11.1 But I’m not going to accept or install any iphone updates. I’ve been on this merry go round too much. I’ve thrown away about 10 headphone/charging lighting plugs just because of updates. Apple loves to slam doors in your face.

If you have an iPhone 7 or 8 and listen to music with a headset you need this. Allows you to listen and charge phone at same time.

Works great...until it doesn't!
Purchased on 9/7/17. Worked great up until last week (11/2/17). Adapter stopped working for charging the phone and listening with headphones simultaneously. You can do one or the other but not both. Really disappointed as it worked great when initially purchased. Would return for a refund but it's beyond the return period.
