Great for any project
I've already purchased this twice, and I'll be purchasing several more in the future. Some people complain about the voltage, I just plug it in to a Alitove 5V 15A power supply and it runs like a dream. The dev board makes hooking up my servos a breeze.

Good quality and very convenient to have usb-c + labeled board
Beautiful, the quality and convenience of using usb-c + having the labeled board is awesome, 10/10, worth the price vs the alternatives that are just barebones esp32s with micro-usb connections

Works pretty well
Works reasonably well, doesn’t have PSRAM like I thought it did based on the description but other than that, it is built well and works properly

Possible cloned chip/won't flash
Looks like the pins on both my boards were bent when covering with foam protection. Not in shipping. The develop boards seem to work. You can program the chips from the board, but you need to plug the USB into the chip as the USB on the board seems to only power which is fine. The first couple times programming chip off the board you will need to press BOOT on chip when the dots on crossing the screen. While on the board one chip auto flashed without having to press BOOT.I got two boards from two batches with different markings in the WROOM chip, as you can see the one with smaller markings is also the one that I can't get to flash at all. Seems it might be a cloned chip. Not worth requesting a refund but will be cautious on reordering.

Synergistic pairing of the ESP32 micro-controller and a great dev board
Back in the day (2019) I had to solder up a voltage regulator, caps and a number of wires with a micro-controller on a breadboard for my application (running Christmas lights). I use the WROOM-32 wifi to manage the light strands using the dev board data pins and connecting the strands to a 12v power supply which also powers the dev board. I've bought 9 for this year's holiday lights using both WS2811 strands and WS2812B strands.

Should be 0 stars
If I could give this 0 stars I would. The breakout board seems neat, but I wouldn't know if it actually works since the boards are junk and won't flash. I'm honestly impressed how the manufacturer can manage to bend several pins but leave the neighboring ones intact; that requires a certain type of skill. Likely the same skill they have to partially solder, leave residue, fingerprints, and not push the headers all the way in before soldering. I'm pretty sure it was given to their 4 year old child as soldering practice actually. Save your money, buy something else. Amazon should take this product down.

solid esp-wroom-32, one dud out of five
The board has the standard pin arrangement, and moves power through pretty well. Of the five in a $30 pack, one was DoA.
