I bought this puncher set for my granddaughter for XmasUnfortunately we didn’t get together to do an embroidery project until the time for a return past,by a couple of weeks. Let me say there are very little to no instructions. The instructions supplied showed how to thread the punch needle and then just to start punch embroidering. First of all it didn’t work. When we punched the thread through the embroidery fabric it just came right back out with the needle when the needle was brought back up. Secondly the adjusting bar wouldn’t lock down so the needle kept colapsing. We then tried one of the other size needles supplied with this kit. After two punches through the fabric the needle head broke, rendering this needle too to be useless. We have tried to make this work watching you tube instruction videos but to no avail. The thread just didn’t stay in or loop into a stitch. I really wish I could get my money back, but I gues that ship has sailed. Poorly made product don’t waste your money!

Poor quality item. I was looking forward to using this item. However, immediately after opening the tool and attempting to use it the product began to fall apart, the needle slid and did not stay in place making it very difficult to use. I attempted to change the needle, however I had the same experience with the additional smaller needle.

I am super excited about this great little box of tools! It comes in a nice box to keep it organized and in one place but also has room for me to add other related items if I want to. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the instructions as to how to use the tools is so minimal it will require me to go searching elsewhere for more detailed help.I still recommend this for anyone that wants to try these tools out.

This should be renamed from "embroidery stitching punch needle" to "stab several holes in your garment while not even embroidering and better not pull the string because it will all come out and leave shredded holes and basically ruin anything you want to pretend embroider".

Makes a great gift. I read a review that says no instructions were included.The instructions are somewhat hidden in the packaging. When you open the package you have your tools, but, you have to open up the paper that is inside. Complete instructions on how to thread the needle, change the needle, and use the unit. After you have it threaded, you're good to go. Easy, fun, so many different ideas for its use. In the kit is the shaft or handle to embroider patterns, a pen, three needles, needle threader's. Buy it, try it, love it! Highly recommend.

This doesn’t come with everything in the picture. Not sure what that blue capped thing is. It may require special rubber tipped gloves to use. I have been trying to get the needle threader through one of the needles and it has been very difficult and my finger skin is now peeling back from my nail bed trying to push this threader through while not trying to stab myself. The idea is clever but not sure if it works, can’t even use it if I can’t thread it.

I got these in excitement to start embroidery designs, but soon found out it wasn’t that easy. After a few tries and makeup tutorials on YouTube, I gave up because it just didn’t work. I used embroidery thread and it wouldn’t work. It’s a nice started set, but I had no luck getting it to work for a beginner.
