Bad mounting system. UPDATE: Customer Service made it right
Updated: The customer service was great, they resolved the issue over email and sent me out a new pad. Highly recommended! The pads themselves are well made. The rubber mounting bracket was off centered and caused the grinder to wobble. This also causes the pads to fly off, several launched over across the street. One hit my father in the shoulder. These are well made pads, however the mounting pad needs to be redesigned.

my piece was still pretty rough and these pads knocked it down nicely
i received these diamond polishing pads the other day, put them to work immediately on polishing up a concrete countertop i am working on, my piece was still pretty rough and these pads knocked it down nicely, i am glad they included multiple sets of the lower grit pads as my very rough countertop did wear through the first pad, the higher grit polishing pads worked great and left me with a nice shine on the concrete. i suggest spraying down the pad and surface with water while you are working for the best results. 10/10 will order again

Trash, low quality pads
These did nothing but put black streaks into my white countertop. Luckily I was just using these to polish the sides or I'd have to buy new slabs. Used these at proper RPM, tested dry and wet...I don't know what the deal with these pads are. Poor quality, not diamond pads, combination of both...Just stay far away from these. I didn't use these right away so they are past the return date. Spend more money and save yourself the headache.

Excellent for marble slab polishing
These things are fantastic. I built a marble slab coffee table, and had used these pads to polish it up. I was going to use the marble slab I had as leftovers as a practice piece, but ended up looking like showroom quality. With proper DA polishing methods, and plenty of patience, I ended up not making my practice piece a showroom piece.Would purchase again if these wear out.

VERY GOOD POLISHER PADS
Simple and easy to use. I started off using a very low amp angle grinder but was running faster than I wanted. I had an old Orbital Sander and stuck the pad to its Hook and Loop pad. This worked extremely well. I use a spray bottle with water to keep the stone wet and generally will use all of the Grinding Pads from rough to fine to get a mirror look to the stone. Only down side I have had is the Hook and Loop System on these pads are EXTREMElY STRONG. They can be a little hard to get off. I use a long thin screw driver to push between the pad and the grinding pad to start it separating from the sander. Will buy again when these finally wear out.

This product does a good job polishing granite
They work well, The picture below is about 5 minutes of work going through three grits up to 1000. They got the edge of this scrap to shine and still had two grits to go. Make sure you get them perfectly centered or you’ll get a lot of wobble and may lose a pad. Also Make sure your grinder has variable speeds, only good up to around 5000 rpm. My backer pad riped away from the attaching nut at around 11000 rpm ( I missed that in the description)

WTF
VERY disappointed after wet-grinding away on a marble shower wall for ~7 hours using every pad in succession. The 50 & 150 sure did cut well and made LOTS of dust, despite my attempts to keep all wet. But there was no progress thereafter. It's my first time, so I didn't know what to expect along the way. The grit never showed up in the rest of the pads! I've watched LOTS of Youtubes and read all the instructions, but found no guide on how to break-in/prime/dress the pads prior to use. Is this even necessary?! See my photo of the pads in order from 50 to 3000. Notice the grit showing in the first 2 pads, but NOTHING thereafter. And this is after full use, then test grinding on 32 grit sandpaper & rough concrete (no effect), and even bench grinding a section (next to thumb). I know they'll become microscopic, but I see no glint at all. So it feels like I've wasted my time and I'm left with a very dull shower stall, worse than when I started.
