Well they said it was thick!
This has got to be the thickest case I have ever owned and its not light either. So far the case is outstanding. The buttons on the side work perfectly. It has charged my phone from about 15% twice and still it had a little in reserve. It also has active prompts on the iPhone to let you know how long it will take to fully charge the phone and case. FINALLY! A case that actually works with Car Play! In short if you don't mind a case that will leave to leaning to one side. Will NOT fit any car holder I am aware of (would probably break any vent clip anyway). Can be used to defend yourself as it IS a "brick" then this is the case for you! Hands down better than the other 3 battery cases I have tried for the iPhone 12 Max pro.Update: So I am on my second case now. Apple car play stopped working. Didn't matter what cable I used it just wouldn't stay connected. Moving the Connected cable would cause it to loose connection. Could not charge the case without tucking the cable under the case to keep just enough pressure on the contacts. Sent an email to customer service and was told to try another cable then another. So I wasn't getting anywhere via that route but I really like this case. Maybe I did something to break it? I purchased another one. This time also purchasing a phone mount for my truck to keep tension and the potential for damage to the port at a minimum. After about a month or stated happening again and this time I think I found out why. It appears that after market iPhone charging cables are ever so slightly thinner, at the point where they plug in to the iPhone, that the original iPhone charging cables. It wasn't until we took a road trip (and I forgot my after market cable at home) I had to purchase a new cable from a apple store we just happened to be going by. When I returned home and plugged the phone in with the after market cable or was noticeably looser and would often loose connection to car play or even just charging. Since I stopped using the after market cable it has worked fine.

Multi-day battery life, great for camping trips.
I was excited to try this case for my new phone! As someone who spends long periods of time using their phone, I virtually never leave the house without a mobile charging block for my phone and I feel like I am always plugging my phone in to give it more juice. As a disclaimer and a credit to Apple, the battery life on the new iPhone 13 Pro Max pretty much solved the problem of having to be plugged in all day by itself. Even on a day where I use my phone a lot, the battery has lasted me from the time I wake up in the morning until the time I go to bed without needing any additional charges. With all that said, there were some pros and cons I noticed with the Zero Lemon case.ProsThe case appears to be very durable. Having a brand new iPhone with 23 months of payments left on it, I was understandably not very eager to test the limits of this case, but it did sustain a small drop of about 3 feet onto hardwood flooring and there was no visible sign of damage to the case or my phone and I would feel confident in its ability to protect my phone even when contacting harder surfaces. Additionally, the back of the case provides a significant well to protect the camera that naturally juts out of the back of the phone quite a bit.The battery life, between the iPhone 13 Pro Max and the extra juice stored in the battery pack in the case, should allow you 3 days of phone use before you have to plug your phone into a wall. When you plug this phone in with the case the phone will charge first, and once the phone has charged the battery on the case will begin charging. As someone who loves to plan multi-day backpacking trips into the woods, I’m really looking forward to using this case to get me through those trips without the need to pack bulkier mobile chargers and cords. The power button on the back of the case allows you to control when you use the battery pack in the case to charge the phone and has 4 lights beside to show the charge level of the battery in the case.ConsThe case is a bit bulky. It was difficult to store this phone in my jeans pockets when the case was on it and I regularly had to either sit my phone down somewhere if I was stationary in a room or store it in a bag if I was on the go. If you purchased the Max version of the iPhone though, you likely already welcome the challenge of sporting a large phone. The second inconvenience I noticed while using this case was that the edges of the case that come around the front of the phone were pushing against my screen protector creating little air bubbles in the corners and along the sides of the screen protector. I should note that Zero Lemon does provide a durable screen protector that comes with the case but I had already had a screen protector on my phone and decided to keep the screen protector I was already using on it. This may or may not be a problem when using the screen protector provided with the case and following all installation instructions. This overall is a very minor inconvenience, but worth noting if you plan to continue using a screen protector that is already applied on your phone. Finally, the speed at which the case charges the phone is a little slow, though the ability to take it wherever you need to go without having to wait before you unplug the phone mostly offsets this. For reference, I waited until my iPhone 13 Pro Max was at 21% battery life before turning on the battery pack. After 1 hour of charging through the battery pack (with minimal phone use during that time) the phone was up to 52% charge. The phone battery reached 80% charge after 1 hour 55 minutes of charging on the pack, and the phone reached 100% charge after 2 hours and 45 minutes of charging on the pack. The battery pack was able to charge my phone from 24% to 80% the second round before the battery pack in the case finally ran out of charge.Overall, this case is great so long as you are willing to deal with a bit of bulkiness.

Ya I like this case.
It is huge and works well with my hands also with the added protection of this case makes this worth it. 10,000 Mah battery works well. If you forget to charge your phone….no problem you should be good for 2 more charge cycles. Broke the port on the battery…. No problem buy a new battery case instead of new port on your phone and you get a brand new battery!!!

Installation is not for the faint hearted
This charger seems to be of decent quality and rugged....But at a cost.First of all....It comes assembled, and is very difficult to figure out how to take it apart. The instructions are totally useless. Instructions dont mention anything about totally removing the rubber case from the plastic case.It comes with an extra "Frame". This is probably to replace the one you broke trying to get this thing apart.Secondly ...This thing is "HUGE" !!!! Not for the dainty handed people.I have not had this long enough to evaluate the batter life, but judging from its size, it should be good. I think I could jump start a truck with it.

Doesn’t support wireless charging
It’a a very big case. Really really big. Feels like I’mHolding a brick sometimes. Didn’t fit in my pocket. With that said, my phone felt like it was protected. When it came to charging-this case didn’t disappoint. However, the case didn’t support my wireless charging port. Hence why I’m returning it.

Customer Service! All week charge!
Love this case, regardless of the constant “Is that a brick in your pocket?” “Woah thats a big case!” This case is great, keeps your phone safe and secure, keeps your phone charged for a week, and great customer service! Couldn’t get much better.
