The pedestal is a bit lame and the rolling wave is too much it creates bubbles, but I like it, move it slowly manually makes it look peaceful. I saw a bigger version of this in an office, the water flows were magnificent, was hoping for same effect but this will do.

When i got it the part the has the liquid was missing the clips that attach it to rocker. I returned it.

It's movement is not tranquil, it is chaotic. I actually like the faster speed. You can buy a two pack of USB-C rechargeable batteries for less than $20 and the work great in this wave machine. Visual effect is good but the mechanical grinding and rattling noises are terrible. Even without the liquid tank attached, it sounds like a food processor with a load of gravel. If I hadn't already given it to my 6yo granddaughter as a present before we turned it on, I would have sent it back. You need to be deaf not to be bothered by the noise. WHAT'S THAT, YOU ASK? WHY BUY THIS? MAYBE YOU WANT TO MASK THE NOISE OF HEAVY CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT IN YOUR OFFICE.

I purchased this as a gift for grandson . I was very pleased . I recommend purchasing .

El producto en sí es muy bonito y a mi hijo le hubiera encantado que funcionase porque le gustan mucho las olas, pero, después de comprobar que las pilas nuevas funcionaban perfectamente, tuvimos que devolverlo porque el producto no funcionaba, con la consecuente desilusión por parte de mi hijo (era regalo de reyes).

I've been searching for a Hughes wave motion machine for a long time (probably just like you) but the authentic ones are very expensive, so I was glad I've found this alternative: The Pro's - Beautiful ocean blue color and relaxing rocking motion, just like you expect. The Con's - Uses a rather uncommon battery type (LR14 C 1,5v) which I even never heard about (most of the gadgets, toys and remotes in the West work on either the more common AA or AAA batteries with the added convenience that these types of rechargeable batteries are easy to find and most people have AA or AAA rechargers) - The specific battery type needed is not supplied in the box. - No USB or power supply. - No timer (if you plan on using this gadget for relaxation purposes on your bed nightstand and fall asleep, you'll use plenty of batteries). - No different speed settings. I managed however to put a common rechargeable AA battery in it (1,2 v) without any problem and it works. Wish this was noted somewhere in the instructions that AA batteries can also be used. With some small additions (USB-power, a timer, a speed setting and a better description or type of battery you can use), it could be the Wave Motion machine, you've been longing for.
