Wool Snake, No Stuffing Cat and Dog Play Toy, Handmade, All Natural (40 Inch, Green/Red)

I have a couple of kitties that can be finicky when it comes to what toys interest them. I had received a smaller version of this snake toy a couple of times in a cat subscription box, and each time it was a huge hit. I ordered this not realizing how large it is. I thought it would maybe just be a little longer than the ones I got in the sub boxes. But this thing is huge! It's big enough that both cats can play with it at the same time. The wool is a great material that holds up to biting and clawing. It's a material that the cats can really dig into and both bat it around as well as pulling it with their claws. One of my cats played with it so much last night, I found him asleep on the toy. Highly recommended!

This snake is now the number one toy in my dog’s toy box. Perfect weight and length for tugging and chewing. It still looks brand new.

This is a huge hit with my playful 7 yr old tabby. Lots of fun, very well made, feels like felted wool.But even better than the quality and fun of the toy snake, is that they are made by Nepalese Sherpa women, who lost so many in the Mount Everest avalanche a couple years ago. So the money you spend is going to help a very worthy cause.

My 6 month old puppy had been finding and chewing on dead snakes in our local park the past week, so I decided to get her a better option. She immediately took to it, and in 10 seconds, one of the eyes had been ripped off. Stella then proceeded to swallow the wool that she ripped off the snake's face. And liking what she had done, she kept attaching the head until half of it was ripped off and gobs of wool were scattered on the floor.Pros: Great construction, beautiful toy, very cool, my puppy loved it.Cons: Wool tears apart easily and quickly and my puppy was trying to eat it.Ultimately, I pulled it away from my puppy and may try again in a few months hopefully after she's bigger and has less of a tendency to tear toys apart. She's torn other dog toys apart, including a Kong doll who's tail she ripped off, so it's just something she does, I think.

The media could not be loaded.  This soft wool snake is my cats favorite toy. We hide it under the couch with just the tip of the tail sticking out.

My dog goes through toys constantly, but these have stood up the the abuse. She loves playing tug with the snake and they don't show any wear at all.

My cat loves when I play with him using this wool snake. It does get a little matted after prolonged use. But, overall, I am glad I purchased this...

These are beautifully made, and my cat loves their lifelike movement!
