My child and I really enjoy these 'bracelets' as she calls them. This product does require TEAMWORK to work well. I think that for an older toddler that you are training to walk with you in crowded places, this is a wonderful item. If you child would pull on you, not understand or be able to stay on task to walk alongside you, the cloth straps attaching the wire to the cuff would likely break (as other reviewers have testified). My child knows that these are her freedom to walk with me, so that I can read a food label or load a conveyor belt. If she pulls on them or tries to walk in a direction against where we need to go, I place her back in the grocery cart or carry her. Since using these just a few times, she willingly and happily walks besides me. We are both much happier. I don't have to worry that she would be easily snatched up or separated from me if I were to take my eyes off of her in the store. This has been such a great training tool!

Bought this for my Disney trip. I had one years ago for my daughter. Many ppl look at you weird for haveing a leash on your kid. But it’s betten then crying in a crowed place cause you lost them or they got kidnapped. It’s a great price and worth buying to take with you for kids who don’t follow you yet. And are easily distracted and walk away. Haven’t used it yet but it looks well constructed and won’t open easily to let the kid slip out. It folds up small enough to have in my handbag. I know this will be the best $4 spent

This wrist strap is perfect for my two year old. She wants to be very independent and will never hold our hands. She always wants to walk by herself. She is also getting too heavy to carry all the time, and she sees a stroller as a torture device. However, when we got her a new "special bracelet," she has been excited to wear it when we go out. We have used this twice so far, once at busy mall on a holiday weekend and also at a busy Christmas village. She gets to walk around with a little freedom but remains next to us. If she wants to stray a little farther, she can, and it is nice not to have to remind her to not go too far. This has made going out with her much less stressful. The straps are very comfortable to wear and the hardware seemed to hold up quite well to the strain of a two year old running and stretching it to the max. The double closure system for the child also makes me feel more comfortable that she will not slip through the strap. I highly recommend this to any parent with a very independent toddle who always wants to walk!

Works well for our toddler, although he has recently learned that if he takes enough time and pulls hard enough, he can undo the Velcro. It really isn’t that bad, though. He is a highly energized and rambunctious toddler who likes to run so we are glad we purchased this for trips to the zoo, mall, etc! It gives him just enough length so that he can run and release some energy without getting too far away from us.

Love this! I saw this on a child at an amusement park, and had to get one for us. My three year old wants to be independent, but doesn’t understand getting lost, so now he can walk without holding hands, and doesn’t need a stroller. He gets mad sometimes when he wants to go somewhere different than me, but he can’t get away. There is a wonderful double Velcro feature on the child side, that he cannot get undone. I love this thing!

I was excited to get this product to take my very hyper active 3 year old and my 4 month old out to the pumpkin patch and to a big fall festival. However, within using it for 15 mins at fall fest the wrist attachment broke on the adult side. I was very disappointed because it was making life a lot easier then trying to juggle both kids at once.

We used this at the zoo with my son to avoid the good ol’ Harambe sitch. Well he tugged away going threw an exhibit door and it snapped as he was pulling and he smashed his face of the door...... so it’s a no from me.
