15883322 Master Power Window Switch Door Lock Front Driver Side with Mirror Switch and Module | Replacement for 2003-2007 Chevy Silverado & GMC Sierra | Replaces# DWS-248

The window goes up and down now like it should, but every time I start my truck my drivers side mirror decides to adjust itself. Inconvenient when backing up.

So honest review.. GOOD: Fit like a glove replacing the faulty one I had, window rolls down on driver side now thank god, locks work, basically works as functioned. BAD: driver power mirror does “dance” I believe another review described it as, basically mirror moves for about 5 seconds clicking then goes away but does that when first turned on put in drive etc. also when locked from inside say when getting out of vehicle then wanting to manually unlock with key I believe my horn honked what once before inserting key and starting vehicle up, so something with the alarm? Mainly writing this review to see if anyone knows possibly how to fix the little bad things! Other than that for now I’m happy I can roll my window down lol

2004 GMC Sierra 1500. (52k miles). Window switch stopped working with the window in the down position. Luckily, I have a garage for storage as I awaited replacement. After replacing, with what looks like a 1 for 1 swap, my window switch works.HOWEVER, I now suffer with a driver side mirror “dance” as the motors shift it out of position every time I start the truck, place it in park, or reverse. Occasionally the remote/electric locks become inoperative after shutting truck off, necessitating manual unlock to exit, and using the key to lock it prior to walking away.See in photo that original switch module has writing in marker on wiring connector ports. I bought truck one year old, and I believe dealer modified module to prevent “dance”, as I’ve read of factory problems with driver memory settings.

Only took a few minutes- All good- windows, locks, mirrors all work.Of interest: I bought this pickup in ‘03, brand new. The switch assembly that was removed was marked MOTOROLA with different #. All the plugs/sockets matched.EXCEPT: The removed Motorola part had black, green and yellow wires exiting the device. Connected to two black wires inside the door, that were finger twisted connections and taped. No provision for connection to the replacement switch assembly. Snipped and taped the three wires pending further information as to their purpose. Everything seems to work without these mystery wires connected to anything. Could be they go to the lamp in the bottom of the DS door?(Google Motorola# search?) I need to see a wiring diagram. Hard to believe this truck was sold new with a hacked wiring job?

Caused a glitch with side view mirror. I unhooked the mirror control to resolve. Other than that this worked fine.

All the controls never worked off it. No access to mirrors or windows for something that claims it fits for my year model truck (04 chevy tahoe LT) really felt like a waste of money and time waiting for it to deliver

i don’t know what all the bs about this switch is. i put it in a 2005 chevy tahoe z71 and it worked perfectly every thing windows mirror and door locks all worked as soon as i plugged it in. no issue whatsoever.

Buen producto, es muy similar al origina y cumple bien su función. En mi caso no bajaba el vidrio del lado del chofer y se corrigió el problema. Cuando ponía R (reversa) se movían los espejos y cuando ponía D (drive) se acomodaban nuevamente, con este producto no hace eso. LO PEOR es que me di cuenta después de tres semanas que no apagaba la luz interior y algo quedaba energizado en el control porque me empezó a descargar la batería.

This replacement part is identical to the original in look , fit and function. Nice to have the functionality back after losing control of window and mirror control. Just be advised that replacing this controller requires removal of the door panel to avoid damaging attachment points.
