Necessary
These bulbs seem to be brighter than the original bulb which finally blew after 10 years. Brilliant. So pleased that they are LED too (we have already switched all our other lighting to LED) yet still so bright for the fridge freezer. Came quickly as expected so only without illumination in the fridge freezer for 2 days but it is amazing what a difference it is. After replacing the bulb, I kept opening the door every couple of hours to see if it was still working (it was and is)!

Its smaller than my original fridge e14 bulb. Smaller than a candle bulb e14. The brightness is really good for it size and not too bright so it wont burn your eyes everytime you open the door 🤩. The original was 1.4w so dimmer than these ones. 3w is a lot but it is really good 6k. I got it on second hand on amazon and no difference i can see from original. And cheaper. 2 in a pack so I have a spare in hand.
