Typically, if you see reviews regarding puzzle pieces, it’s that the puzzle is missing pieces, not that it comes with extra. 5 stars for the quality of this puzzle and the fact it has all of the pieces. Though, I am sorry if someone ended up with the puzzle that is missing these two pieces.

It was a beautiful and fun puzzle to put together that was challenging but doable. There was an extra piece at the end just for funzies. They provided letters on the back of pieces to tell you which zone it was in. I chose not to use that feature, but I did peek a couple of times. Two pieces had a weird rough coating on it, as if something was spilled on it, but that didn't take too much away from the enjoyment of the puzzle.

This was a fun puzzle to put together. It is durable, has good color, and is easy to work. It comes with a picture that is the same size-bonus!

Put this out when I had family over for a few days over Thanksgiving. We were concerned because the word puzzle was spelled incorrectly and thought it would be incomplete. It turned out to be great. The colors are rich and pleasing g to the eye. Not a Ravens quality, but worked out great.

First of all, I fell in love with the picture on this puzzle. The kitties just plain stole my heart. I had never worked a puzzle with numbers on the back of the pieces before but I liked it. The puzzle was divided into 4 sections - A B C and D. I found it a bit easier to complete each section as opposed to sorting by colors or object. It was a time saver for sure but didn’t feel like I was cheating. It was truly a joy to complete! Maybe I feel that way because the puzzle I did before this one was a nightmare!! But seriously, I had fun working this one and I think you will, too.

This is a challenging design but not impossible - which is exactly what I look for in a puzzle. That's where the good ends.The pieces are very thin and not only do they tear when you try to separate pieces that did not get completely machine cut apart during manufacturing but there are quite a few with paper from the back of one piece still stuck to the piece it was cut from. There are more than a few non-edge pieces with one straight edge so that they cannot be connected to the piece they share a straight edge, and if it wasn't for the color, you couldn't tell them from the edges. All of the tabs and sockets are identical or almost identical, leaving one less "clue" that you have selected the correct piece to connect next. This last problem makes it IMPOSSIBLE to put the (entirely black) border together, leaving me to attempt this puzzle working from the inside out.Very disappointing purchase - I have requested a return/refund. Disappointing, as it's a pretty cool puzzle visually.

This would have been sooo much harder if I hadn't 't read the suggestions of previous puzzlers. They suggested beginning with the center circle. Since every piece has A, B, C, or D stamped on the back, I decided to sort the pieces into individual piles by letter and create a fifth smaller pile made up pieces from all four sections of the center circle. I used the folded picture to help identify the center pieces and pulled out most of the fifth-pile (center-circle) pieces as I was sorting the letters. Don't misplace the picture--you will find it is even more useful later. I now wish I had made an additional sub-pile when I sorted for all four sections. I would have placed the black circle pieces in a separate pile near their letter section. I did do this, but after I had almost completed the A Section. I used sorting trays to sort each section as I completed it. I sorted by predominate colors in that section. For me the most difficult part of this puzzle was finishing the outer layers. I suggest that you do the black line pieces only after you have completed the twelve zodiac signs. Don't worry about a few missing pieces as you work in the four sections. I found all the "missing pieces" turned up when I worked in one of the next sections. I used every piece except the black line pieces. Then I actually used a magnifier and the picture to help finish the black line, since many pieces could be used in more than one place. I will have to take my puzzle apart soon, but I like looking at it--it looks like an inlayed tile mosaic on my game table! When I do, I will repackage it in the original box in four plastic bags (Sections) to help the next puzzler avoid most of the initial sorting.

This puzzle is worth the money. Pieces are colorful and sturdy. I would but it again.
