What a rip off. Only 4pieces of octopus.

good quality, medallion cut pieces of chewy octopus
This was a very good quality canned octopus, which I really enjoyed in my paella. There were not very many pieces in the can, so I added a can of my Matiz Gallego pulpo as well (the Matiz Gallego was a slightly fuller can). While the Matiz Gallego was very leggy with big suction cups and a thin, membranous skin out of the can, the Frinsa were cut into neat medallions (no legs), and were a bit thicker-skinned (both were about equally meaty and chewy once cooked, though). I enjoyed them both equally and will continue to purchase both depending on which one's pricing looks better (at the moment, Matiz's pack of two cans are looking very good). I have uploaded a snapshot of both opened cans, drained and side by side, for comparison.
