can the lens be any more bigger ??
first impression: wow, nice, the power cable is small and that lens is huge. However, after plugged into the my laptop i started noticing few odds design to this projector. I am tasked to purchase two projectors for our two small conference rooms. This projector is facing many competitions in this market but has potential, if it would change few items. The odd about this Projector: That "big" lens is catching my finger which cause smears and it will show on the projection. the focus dial is under the projector near the front, that is why my fingers keeps touching the lens. The two legs in the front suppose to left the projector up, it does but not high enough. Also this has "micro SD card slot" build in.. you have to find it.. it is hidden... read your manual..Likes about the function/features: the size isn't bad i can manage it, the power cable is great. They build the AC/DC converter in side the projector. this projector has their version of air play. the power on/off is right away.for some reason i can't get the entire picture focus the top would be fine but the bottom isn't and eve if i adjusted the keystone same problem.

Great projector for a back yard movie night!
I got my new projector this week. It is packed with every feature I want in a projector and it was a great price at under $100.00.This projector has a bunch of source inputs. It will hook to my Blu-Ray player, my phone, my tablet, my PC or my laptop. The projector also has a connector allowing RCA video and audio input so it can connect any other video source I can think of.Audio out is a stereo din connector the easily hooks into the AUX port of my portable stereo system but I can hook it to a sound bar or other audio amp if I want to in the future. Sound quality through my amp is great! The projector has a remote control and very intuitive menu system. It was a 15 minute setup time for me, and that was mainly playing with things to get the perfect size picture on the screen and finding the right speaker positions.A threaded socket in the bottom of the projector allows me to mount the projector on my tripod. By using a tripod, I can easily adjust the height and tilt of the projector to align the picture on the screen perfectly. The threaded socket is a US standard size. It is a perfect fit for my tripod that I purchased about 35-40 years ago. It appears to me that the projector should fit on any standard tripod without a problem. This projector has built in speakers, however, I will only be using the built in speakers if I ever have an indoor showing or presentation where the room is quiet. I am sure they are nice for that, but for an outdoor showing, with cars driving by, crickets, wind, etc, I want some power.I purchased this projector because the wife and I wanted to do movies nights in the back yard for the family, friends and kids. This was perfect!! I purchased a 100" projection screen. I hooked the projector to a portable sound system I already owned. I hooked up a Blu-Ray player I already owned and within 15 minutes I was ready. Everyone loved it and it was a great get together.Picture quality was surprisingly good. I say surprisingly because I was a little worried that because I cheaped out on the price, it would be too dark, but the picture is actually great! It is a nice bright picture. The easy to use adjustment for focus on the front of the projector allows me to have a sharp crystal clear picture and the color is dead on. Watching movies in the backyard reminds me of the outdoor theater days. (Okay, I'm old...so what!)All in all, I am very happy with this projector so far. The first get together in my yard went very well and I envision many "movie nights" to come.

Good value for cost but it has its flaws
Great, clear picture. Full volume is not that loud. Needed Amazon Fire Stick to run Netflix. Contrary to description that says you can simply hook up an iphone and watch video, this is not true for running Netflix. Manual is difficult to follow as far as running video. The remote is of moderate quality. On screen instructions are not clear. I got it running basically by trial and error. It is a good value for the cost.

It was older but was very nice. Comparing this (1800 lumens) to that older name ...
I borrowed an expensive name brand projector before buying this one. It was older but was very nice. Comparing this (1800 lumens) to that older name brand, this one comes out ahead because the screen quality seems sharper and a little clearer on the Vamvo and HDMI is no problem.Just be careful not to ever damage the 1/8" plug because it's wired differently. I tried an everyday over the counter plug and no worky. You could if need be, solder it in the same configuration to save having to buy another projector, should something ever happen to the plug. And there's no words on the remote so you'll be referring to the manual often early on. No markings on the buttons on the unit itself. But overall, I'm very pleased with its quality and believe or not, the sound that comes from the unit. The quick HDMI and USB hook up is nice. I'll throw a movie on a thumb/flash drive and head to the party. No extra cables to worry about. And this is good enough for a living room full of people as long as there's no external noise.Don't see anywhere where the LED bulb can be changed once exhausted so be prepared to buy another until in a year of heavy using or 3 if used seldom. But for the price and quality, It will be worth it.Oh, and last tip, don't store or use unit in a very dusty area as I seemed to have picked up two specks seen on the screen. The small dust particles seem to go right through but after using in a barn high on a rafter, I noticed the two small specks. Word to the wise. Maybe a dryer sheet over the intake. But be careful, this thing produces heat out of the unit. No enough to burn but slowing the air flow just a little may or may not over heat it. Does it come with over heat protection? Unknown at this time. I'll be buying another Vamvo if I get a year out of this one.IN SUMMATION:Cheap price, not cheap quality1/8" 3.5mm adapter not universalSound good enough for everyday useProtect from lots of dustProject up to 10' widePlays both 1:1 & 16:9 in perspective sizeButtons not marked clearly.
