Very sturdy, very heavy and perfect for a wheelchair.
I had to purchase 2 ramps quickly, when I found out my husband who had a stroke was being discharged in a wheelchair. I ordered the 4 inch rise for my immediate doorway and the 3.5 rise for the step to the entryway. They came withing a couple days, very heavy, solid rubber and sturdy. In the close up picture I tried to capture what it looked like from the side. There so perfect, even if the wheelchair hits on an angle the ramps are made so you can still make it up with ease. I did install grip tape and glow in the dark tape on the ground, top and bottom so people will see. When your in the habit of just walking flush to your doorway and not thinking, I've tripped over them but the tape and sign stopped that. I couldn't be more pleased with these ramps, they will last a lifetime.

Very sturdy & stay in place
These are very sturdy & great to bridge the gap from the outside deck & doorway. They stay in place once you put it down & do not move. Love the Grooves in the design as they help with not slipping, even when it is wet. Bought this to help my dog get in & out the door after knee surgery. Loved it so much bought another one for front door as well. I have MS & these work great with my walker. They are sturdy enough to support power wheel chairs as well. These are expensive but well worth the price.

This is a solid product.
This product has been a life saver. The product itself is very sturdy and solid. It has enough weight that it hasn't moved/slid from the position in which it was put. We are using the ramp on a wood floor and it is butting up to a carpeted floor with just over a 4" rise. We were worried about moving or sliding. This is a heavily traveled area not only for the wheelchair, but pets and people also. We have been extremely satisfied with this ramp. I was worried about the infamous "rubber smell" that I have read on other products. We have not had any rubber smell from it. This product has been a complete life saver for my parents and being able to live in their home with a wheelchair.

Wish it was wider.
The width is ok for the door, but it is very short making it hard to step on and walk into your house. I am disable and I though this would make it easier than having to step up into my house, but it's short making it steep to step into my house. I get over balanced, I hope I don't fall. But I needed something for my scooter to get it in the house.

Does the job while having a clean appearance.
The Baumgartner House Museum in Fraser Michigan was in need of 2" rise ramps for wheelchair access through the back door.My very generous Lady was going to have construction companies bid to build them. I suggested we look at these premade rubber mats first for several reasons. They look good. They don't take away from the historical aspect of the Museum and they don't appear to move according to the reviews. Happily that turned out to be true! This is a perfect solution for a lower height ramp.Very heavy duty rubber (think in terms of tires).Lays right down. No need to bolt it down which make it easy to clean around when needed. We are all very happy with this product.

Strong Tire Smell
Got this so our handicapped mother could go out back to the patio using her walker. The ramp is heavy duty, firm, and just wide enough. However, it stinks to high heaven. The best I can compare it to is it smells very similar to a tire store. Strong chemically rubber odor. On cloudy days it isn't so bad but when it's sunny...hoowee does it reek. You would think it wouldn't be an issue since it's outside but we can't leave the patio screen door open as the smell gets into the house. Just might return or chuck it and look for other options.

Perfect solution to my high step downs
This step down from my front door to outside is 6 inches. I put 12 x 12 inch concrete squares in front to raise the height 1 inch and then had a 5 inch step down. That was ok for years but now I use a walker and it has been difficult to enter/exit. This 4 inch rubber threshold ramp is perfect on top of my concrete blocks. Yes, it has a strong rubber odor but it is dissipating. Yes, it is heavy but it is very secure in place on top of my concrete blocks. I just purchased another one for my rear door! Great solution to the high step downs at my senior apartment. Very satisfied. Love the contoured sloping edges. Looks very neat and tidy in front.

Heavy-duty
This is a heavy-duty item - very durable and strong! I shaved it down a bit to fit where I wanted it. It is a solid piece of rubber and somewhat heavy. Served its purpose.

Great transition piece
Works very well at our retail store as there is a small gap at the front door down to the floor because of cold winters shifting everything. It fills in the gap, eliminates a tripping hazard and provides wheelchair accessibility. We just wish it was a couple of inches deeper. It seems pretty sturdy so should last a good while.
