They work perfectly reaching and getting anything off the grill or out of the oven. BUT they don't cool quickly and you can get burnt even after 30seconds later removing them. The red material stays hot and is all you have to grab when removing gloves because they fit so snug. My 15yr old daughter who's learning to bake burnt herself removing the gloves on her first homemade bread bake. The gloves was still extremely hot on the red material when I checked it. You won't get burnt with them on. 4 stars because they will burn you taking them off.

Great addition to the kitchen. I use them when working on a crowded stove top and and when placing items into or removing items from the oven. I purchased a second pair for my son who grills a lot. He was delighted to receive them.

Mmmm, not so much...the concept is genius, but the execution is just TOO BIG! I have LARGE hands and these are still very big on me. I use them when steaming clothes and they work 'good enough'. Next time, I would try to find smaller ones!
