I ORIGINALLY HEARD "TATA YOU JESUS" WITH MY GOSPEL GROUP THAT I SING WITH. THEY TOLD ME THEY WANTED TO DO THE SONG. IT MOVED ME SO I WANTED TO KNOW MORE ABOUT KIRK WHALUM THE GOSPEL JAZZ ARTIST. I KNEW OF HIM IN THE JAZZ WORLD BUT NOT ON A SPIRITUAL LEVEL. THIS CD NOT ONLY MET MY EXPECTATIONS BUT EXCEEDED THEM. HIGH PRAISE FOR KIRK WHALUM!!!

A must have. This is music that can really set the atmosphere for worship to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Let the music speak to your inner essence and get in contact with your Heavenly Father. He really speaks to you through this wonderful compilation of music. Wonderful!

I totally enjoy listening to Kirk Whalum and his guests on Chapter 2 while getting ready for work in the morning or driving around town. The music is uplifting, relaxing and a wonderful way to start the day.

As an arts minister, this work is amazing! We live in an area where we are able to connect with Mr. Whalum and others who are in the arts.....being able to have his music in hand is a true Blessing! Dr. Abby

I purchased all three albums. Mr. Whalum is truly an inspirational artists. These CDs keep me in a place of praise and worship. God bless and I'm looking forward to future installments.

This compilation has already become one of my favorite cd's. The performances are tight and imaginative and each track brings its own melodic creative originality. Kirk plays so well and leads the band with such distinct uniqueness, yet not at the expense of others on the set. George Duke is sublime and plays with such smooth delicacy, an undoubted maestro of the 88's. So Far soo good, is a wonderfully relaxing composition as is Thy kingdom Come'.Lovers of smooth Jazz, gospel music and Christianity will by no means be disappointed with a purchase of this album. In fact purchase one for a friend, and even an enemy, they may well reconcile with you.

昔から、クリスチャンとしても有名なカークウエラム今まで、なんでゴスペルをジャズの演奏をしてくれないかなーと考えていた矢先に嬉しいアルバムを出してくれました。その第二段自分的に、チャプター２のほうがより豪華に聞こえましたけど。内容は、非常にジャズのリズムにゴスペルがある　まんまですねｗゴスペルならではの思わず口ずさむようなフレージングでサックスを演奏してくれるのは何時もながらカークウエラムらしさで嬉しい限りですんで、バックでパワーのあるコーラスがガンガン歌いますが　サックスぜんぜん負けてません！なんど聞いていて胸が熱くなる気分です

普通に美しい、普通に上質。それが出来るのは全てのメンバーのレベルが高いからで、丁寧な音作りですし聞いていて気持ちがよいです。オーディオ的にもバランスの良い一枚なのでお薦めしたいです。
