Cost effective and less heat
These bulbs replaced the halogen ones we bought with the house. They are excellent. Little to no heat comes from them, great lighting, and affordable.

Poor construction and durability
I put 4 bulbs into my Zephyr kitchen exhaust hood 1.5 years ago. All bulbs were challenging to put in; they're fatter than halogen, so they scraped against the hood's screws, gouging the bulbs. Two bulbs' housing broke. One bulb no longer produces light.Cons: poor construction and durabilityPros: Light quality is good

Nice warm bright light coming from bulbs, not long lasting though
Bought a 4-pack end of July, installed around mid August. Beautiful warm bright light.Warranty should be given as 3 weeks rather than 3 years. In less than a month 2 out of 4 bulbs failed. How do I go for a replacement, since they are allegedly guaranteed for 3 years.

Work great and they're very bright
GREAT! Much brighter than the halogen bulbs I replaced and at a fraction of the energy use. It was a bit tricky to get the bulb in place but I believe that was user error. The pins appear to be exactly the same as the halogen bulb it was replacing.Not much more to say, it's a light bulb, it works and it's bright. I'll update this review over time if these fail prematurely or experience other issues.

LED vs Halogens bulbs. Halogens put out a perfect light in a decorative glass enclosure, but they are power hungry and very hot. These LED GU10 Bulbs are a great light bulb, perfect color, low heat and low power consumption. But they do not produce light around the edge and they will not light up your decorative glass enclosure. If you are using a metal light enclosure then they will work great, just not for decorative glass.

Not warm white - more like ‘daylight’ unfortunately, but a good fit and pretty good value. Bright.

Bright,cool and light weight
With LED's you never quite know if 50w equivalent is really 50w...or the Lumens are what they state them to be. In this case they are what they claim to be. They are Bright, the perfect color spectrum for a kitchen, generate no heat, with a good consistent light pattern. Very pleased

Does not last long.
I bought this set 2 years ago and it was pretty bright when installed. But last week 1 bulb went out , from a set of 4. Today morning another 2 gave away. These LED bulbs dont seem to last as advertised!!!
