video quality is excellent! I was 95 miles away and i got the notice of something in the room (it was my cat. lol) The only thing im confused about is, it says it doesn't record sound. BUT there is a speaker icon.. not sure what it's there for. i've tested it. pressed it and a microphone showed up. While my cat was in teh room i pressed the mic and did all sorts of kitty sounds. lmao. but they didn't respond. so no, they can't hear me.. BUT. one time i was watching a live video and the phone on my house rang.. i heard the answering machine message right along wiht those loud rings very clearly... the phone is 3 inches from this camera.. so i am not sure what is going on.. it's not an issue, really. just puzzling

Hot to the touch.
I have been using this in my vacation home for several months to verify the cleaning service was arriving and staying as scheduled. It worked well for quite some time but in late December started shutting off for no reason. I found the unit was extremely hot and unplugged it. The connection resumed for about a week then shut off again. Each time it shut off I noticed the unit had become not just warm but hot to the touch. Changing outlets does not seem to correct the issue and after about 10 days it shuts off and cannot be reconnected until it cools. This gives me some concern about long-term reliability and the possibility of hazard.

Drops WiFi a lot and can’t reconnect for awhile.Doesn’t have audio.Sensor begins recording late so unless you are recording a certain area and not using it for the sensor capabilities it works ok.Best use is probably just a spy cam, I hear it overheats and that may be my problem but I’m usually not home. I use it for sensor recording but records late. To leave it record non stop makes no sense for me. As usual with these type of devices, the app doesn’t work properly either. This is he 3rd of these forgein knock off devices I have bought and they are a disappointment.

Captures video easily.
Excellent. Lasts for days before overwriting if you use a large memory card. Haven't got an iPhone so I haven't set it up so I can view while away or change settings, but view all the videos on my PC. Don't understand why all Amazon stuff keeps jumping in price.. it's now over $40 more than I paid for it. Was planning on getting another, but will wait.

Does the job I needed it for
I got it for when I was gone for a few months. The WIFI stopped working about halfway through but it was still recording on the micro SD card(I had to buy separately). I had to play with the sensitivity settings so it notified me when someone was in my house but didn’t alert me to nothing.

Overall review
Great camera for what it is. Have mine in use for about 6 months, no problems so far. You do have to set up the WiFi connection on it every time WiFi signal is lost. It is unnoticeable, no batteries or wires required, plug and play. Works as a charger, slow to charge but that’s not it’s main purpose. View your home when out of the house any time through the app. Review saved videos on the app as well. Records audio, but it is not great though.

Picture is great, wifi works good. NO AUDIO. Checked all settings and nothing fixes it. Returning.

No website
So I have scanned the barcode for the website & it say failure to connect no such website. I have even tried pulling it up on my computer & again it says failure to connect no such website. So now what do I do. It's pretty much worthless with not being able to connect to the website. Please advise.I did find a website and this is how it reads: Подписка окончена! This how it reads. What language is this?? surly NOT English!
