More likely to make it through TSA
I had one before and it had a pointy metal file that the TSA confiscated. I love that they found a way to replace it with a non-pointy glass file. As is always the case, the tools are meant for convenience/emergencies. You're not going to use the screw driver to build a house or put together an Ikea desk, but if you need to open a battery compartment it works just fine. Not as thin as some of those credit card sized metal multi-tools but more useful and fits in the change compartment of my wristlet.I don't know that anyone could guarantee that something is TSA compliant these days, because who knows what they'll object to or not, but it is certainly more likely to make it through with the glass file than the pointy metal one.

great tool card
I love this tool card that is packaged in something basically the size of a large credit card. I take this tool with me everywhere. I really like that I can fly with this tool, and it takes up no room. I have used the scissors many times when on vacation. When I hiked King Ludwig’s Way in Germany, i took this tool in my boo-boo kit every day. It is very light weight. I used it the entire trip to create bandages for blister. I used the tweezers to deal with a tick.

Way sturdier than I expected
I got this as a nail care solution to put in my travel dopp kit, rather than having separate nail file, tweezers and trimmer. I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy it is. I was expecting more wobble and flex in the red case because of how thin it is, but it feels very strong. By the same token the tools that pull out all feel a lot stronger than I expected—particularly the scissors, which feel similar (if not identical) to the scissors on my Victorinox Compact pocketknife.Overall I’m more impressed with this than I expected to be, and I’ve been a happy Victorinox customer for decades at this point. I recommend it.

tsa friendly but why more $$ than the one with a knife
Not quite sure why this costs so much more than the version with a knife. I can't imagine the file cost that much more to manufacture.I primarily purchased this because I love my Is victorinox explorer swiss army knife but I can't take that on planes.I have only flown with this twice so far (US airports). At one airport it went through without any question, at the other they wanted to take a look at it, but let it go as soon as they realized there was no knife. The person who checked the bag clearly knew what it was as soon as he saw it so that may have helped. If you do ever get stopped by the TSA please be polite and realize that while you may not be a danger to others, they don't know you from anyone and the next person might be a danger.

Some of the best features of a Swiss knife, without the weight or TSA trouble.
Love this gadget! It is the same size as a credit card. It has many of the features I use most often on my Swiss Champ army knife. I work with wood and I have a frequent need to extricate a sliver or two, so I use the tweezers, magnifying, glass, and straight pin. My fingernails also take a beating so I find the glass nail file comfortable, sharp, and perfect to smooth over rough edges. Every once in a while, I come across plastic packaging, and the scissors, although very small, still do the trick. I occasionally use the toothpick and the ballpoint pen when the need arises. It is very easy to carry and I think it will pass TSA muster, although I have yet to try this. However, it is expensive, but I bought two anyway!

Better than expected
I wanted something to take on vacation that was TSA compliant. I ordered this and the Victorinox Jetsetter Swiss Army "knifeless" knife. I had a jetsetter before and lost it, so I was looking for a replacement. The Nailcare Swisscard filled all my needs and more in a more convenient form factor. I'm returning the jetsetter because I don't need both.

Replaces what courthouse security took
My wife has treasured this. My daughter gave me one for Christmas in a year gone by. My wife appropriated it. She was really angry when the local courthouse security types were only too happy to reliever her of it. I replaced it. This set has nail file, nice scissors. She’s often trimming and sniping in idle moments. She’s happy. I’m happy.

Perfect! This is in my purse for good.
Really high quality, well thought out versatility. Just the right tools for the job - and lots of them! And the fact that this makes it thru TSA check means I can carry it with me everywhere! Slim, lightweight, super useful. Love it!
